Heart of the Knight

Standing up and getting off of the swings, Peony decided to find Phobia. "Hmm....she headed back towards the music store....I think..."

Phobia walked forward,
heading for somewhere out of the crowd.
The clowns where creeping her out.​

 

Walking past a group of, shall we say, brawny men, Peony received catcalls and the like. She ignored it, up until one of the men groped her bum.
Her gaze darkened, and she punched the man in the nose; breaking the bone into his head, and killing him.
"Don't...touch...me."

 

The laughter sounded eerie to Axel as well as he took a second glance around starring at other people suspiciously. He then turned back to Demyx. "Yeah, that sounds fine to me, just trend slowly," he warned as he had Demyx walk ahead so that he could keep an eye on him.

Leon kept his eyes glancing around a bit nervous with seeing some people with clown masks on. "Okay, maybe this is a little too extreme to be Halloween, perhaps a circus in in town? Just take us to a hotel or something," he caught his breath sighing outloud trying to stay calm.

 

"I'm on it." Cloud looked back over his shoulder as he now at another red light. He noticed two cloaked members walking along the street. "Leon, clowns are the least of our problems. Some members of the organization are here as well."

Demyx followed Axel until he saw a young girl fighting aganist two bigger men. "Hey leave her alone," he yelled at them summoning his dancers that mopped the floor with them easily.

 

Peony noticed a boy with a black cloak and a funny hair-do help her fight the other perverts.

"Thank you..." She then noticed his Sitar.

"You play a sitar?" Her eyes flashed in curiousity.

She smiled. "Sitars are rarely a big choice in the instrument industry. May I hear you play sometime?" She asked with an unconsious smile.

 

Demyx grinned liking this girl already. She was friendly and seemed to be a big fan of music. "Yeah that would be fine. Would you like to come with Axel and I?"

 

"Axel? A fitting name. My name is Peony Quartet, but you can call me what you like. I'd be happy to travel with you; it's getting late, and being by yourself this late isn't very smart." I took my zune out of my pocket and plugged it into my headphones.

"Do either of you listen to 'My Chemical Romance'?"

 

Demyx shrugged his shoulders since he came from a different world. "No I haven't heard of it. I'm from the World That Never Was and so is Axel. We're both from Organization XIII which explains the simarlity of our uniforms."

 

"I originated from twilight town. Homey and comfortable, but extremly boring. You really should listen to them, they have many cool songs. I'll let you borrow my headphones and zune, if you'd like..." Tilting her head to the side in confusion, she continued.

"Organization XIII? Never heard of them. I've been in Gotham for four years, so that sorta explains how I know what My Chemical Romance is and you don't."

 

Demyx waved his sitar in the air showing off. He looked at the sky and knew they had to get to a hotel since night was coming and he didn't want to be on the streets in a strange city. "Oh so you never heard of Organization XIII?" He looked at Axel and smiled. He looked back at her. "Well have you heard of nobodies and heartless?"

 

"Yeah. My mom was killed by one of those shadows. Instead of running away from them, like a SMART person, she squealed and tried to hug it because it was 'cute'."

 

Demyx shook his head knowing people made that same mistake. Why would people want to hug shadows? They were creepy and had claws. They wern't pets. "Oh well that's to bad. I want to know if you have heard of nobodies though and the keyblade wielder Sora?" Demyx began to walk with her making sure Axel was following.

 

"What I've heard is from what could be considered 'rabid fangirls'. All they EVER said, no SQUEALED, is that Sora's 'cute', 'short', and is 'a can of heartless woop-ass.'"
Peony stated with a blank face.

"I have no clue what a nobody is."

 

"But what do you think of Sora?" Demyx wanted to know a little bit more about her before he revealed who he was. "And a nobody is simply a creature that is an empty shell from a heartless when a person loses his or her heart.

 

"Well, considering I've never met the kid, I have no opinion of him. I like to give people the benifit of the doubt. Everyone does what they do for their own reasons. I feel bad for the nobodies. Having no heart must be terrible. But I guess some people could think that 'emotion makes you weak'..."

 

Demyx placed his finger to his chin and then placed the same hand on his right hip. "Well I'm glad you feel that way because I'm not human," he summoned a dancer to prove his point. From the darkness they appeared awaiting their leige's orders. "Don't be alarmed. They won't hurt you. They listen to me after all. I'm their master, their leige."

 

Phobia konked out of her depressed state, when she heard the voice of her friend, Peony.

"Chirps?"
Phobia spoke, walking towards her.
"Who are your convention going friends here?
Beyond that, whats with all these clowns? They're driving me MAD."​

 

The look on Peony's face when Demyx summoned the dancers was.... awe. The absolute second Peony heard Phobia call her, she whirled around with a smile on her face.

"There you are Hattie! I've been looking...well, I can't say everywhere...."

She turned back to Demyx with a wide smile.

"That was spectacular."

 

Demyx saw the other girl and wondered who she was besides just hearing her name. "Thanks, but that is nothing. Do you care to see more of my abilities? But first we need to find a place to stay." He looked at the dancers that swirled about, their bodies swaying to the left and then the right.
