"How so?" Phobia questioned out loud. "I just think everyone here is merely MAD."

 

Sitting in the chair, Peony spotted two odd characters walking by the store.

'Wonderful! Playmates!'

 

"Have you ever heard of the healing power of laughter? And you know the thing about slaughter, you can't say it without laughter," Joker said.

 

"Hmmm...true. And people DO die laughing! " Phobia lifted her arms into the cloudy sky. "But... I wonder... Does the sky ever laugh?"

 

"Everything laughs...in its own special way," Joker said as he spotted a music store.

 

I stood up; why not drop off a few of my special brand of cd's here? (Don't worry, this only causes people to rebel agains't the law, not creat an evil army. That's saved for later. ;D)

I dropped a couple of my cd's in the rack. I pride myself in my work, so I grin like a chesire afterwards. I then sit back down.

 

"Hmm..how MAD." Phobia noticed him stare at the store. "I heard that people just go absolutely MAD after buying certain cd's in there."

 

The Joker walked in without saying a word and looked around.

 

As my favorite song came on: A Gorey Demise, by Creature Feature, I started to sing along with it.

"One by one we bite the dust; kick the bucket, begin to rust. Give up the ghost when your number's up; we all fall down. Ashes to ashes, to bones, to paste. We wither away; in our resting place. Eternity, in a wooden case! We all fall down."

 

Phobia frowned lightly. She stood outside of the music store, not bothering to come in. " Twinkle twinkle, little bat..how I wonder what you're at? Up above the world you fly... like a tea-tray..in the sky.." Phobia sang lightly.

 

"Bat," Joker mutterd. The Joker turned to her. "Say," he said. "You want to come and have fun with us?" he asked.

 

As someone approched me, I grinned. "My, you'd like me to be a playmate? Sounds fun."

 

"It'll be a blast," Joker said.

 

I grinned: Fun!

"Sounds simply delightful. Will there be lots of people to play with? Three's a party, but not as much fun as even more."

 

"Oh. There'll be more clowns," Joker said to both of them.

 

Phobia grinned. "Now that that's settled, why don't we give our names away? *chuckle* My name's Phobia Marks. Don't be afraid, but Feel free to call me Markie."

 

"My name's The Joker." Joker said with a smile. "Here's my card." After he said that he took out two Joker cards and handed one to each of them.

 

"Wonderful. My names Peony Quartet, but feel free to call me P.Q, or Maestro. All the athorties do."

 

"Hmm..how fun! Anyone care for a care of tea?" Phobia questioned, casually sipping a cup of tea that seemed to appear for no-where.

 

"Where'd that cup of tea come from?" Joker asked.
