I've been ODing on Celldweller and Blue Stahli. Both of them do a lot of stuff like background music in movies and games, so odds are good you've heard them even if you don't know it.

I was scouring through K-pop when I went to the other, more peaceful side of the field, and discovered Bluedawn (푸른 새벽)

A lovely duo (but they have now broken up), their songs are fairly melancholic yet gentle and sweet at the same time.
