It could just as easily be the other way around: the mind gives rise to the soul. it all just depends on your point of view regarding what a soul is.

 

dose it really matter what a soul is? some people belive its there, some dont... its not something that governs your like... when you die, you die... that's as simple as it gets...

 

where have you heard that....?

 

first my science teacher siad it so i thought it was a bunch of sh!t then he told me to resaerch of what happend then it turns out thats it really true 0_O

 

The "dead twin" theory is still something that has no empirical grounds. There are plenty of of more cases where it has been proven wrong as opposed to right. as of yet we still haven't been able to find a viable image of two entities that vie for birth.

 

could ja put that in stupid langauge? so your saying that isn't true? but *i hate getting deep with this stuff* when that pretty cell hits that other cell theres like a 1/1,000,000,000,000,000,000 chance that would ever happen but i thought that did happen?

 

But the question is What happens when you die?. I mean everything would turn black I guess but you wouldn't know its black because you don't have a conscious. Then what? I mean, even just having something to do with turning into grass or something. ​

ok ill be serious..... death and the soul has been a matter of interest to me for a berry berry long time. well i try not to think about whats on the other side.. but then again.. no one knows whats on the other side...
1st DEATH and AFTER:: humans have created the so called heaven and hell, and yes, the existence of GOD as well. it was more like we created this being called GOD and made rules to keep the bad from the good and to keep the people in a straight line. my point is that when people say that they have seen heaven, well they really haven't it's more likely that its a halicunation..... humans create this awesome image of heaven and deadly image of hell and when one stands at the edge of life and death and then returns, they think of those 2 places and create a vivid image of it, and its so real and powerful, they will believe it... no one knows what heaven and hell looks like (if they exist in the 1st place)... so how can one say that thier soul will either be damned or saved?
2nd SOUL: we are very unique creatures... of superior intelligence and emotion. but we are also animals wehter you like is or not. i really do not like the fact that we deny the idea of any other animals having emotions. thats just BS. we humans have the power to communicate better.. thats about it.. so what makes us so special to have a soul?? a cow does cry when you are about to kill it... it knows. a soul is emotion, its the essence of the living. it gives us life and the feeligns we feel. its what makes the living LIVING. then there's the question of the existene of the soul... it could be that the brain just functions in a way to make us feel these feelings (which is actually true cuz u only feel different things cuz you brain signals your body to release ceratin hormones to make you body have certain types of reactions or feelings). I really dont wanna go into that scientific crap right now... but yea... i do not deny the existence of the soul... i just dont know wether its there or not. o.O if there is a soul, where the soul goes after death... no one knows. what is after death... well........ i'll let ya know when i die. ^_^

 

Maybe, our universe is whats inside an atom! and these atoms make up an entire universe, which is
inside an atom! Which is part of another universe and that is an atom which makes up a universe
which is an atom which makes up a tiny bit of an atom.... And all these atoms make up some big
stinky shoe that floats in the middle of nothing! So when you die you live in the shoe!

 

i've always believed that your soul holds you personality .. other wise were empty shells

 

I like the idea of reincarnation. Heaven and Hell scares me. Who would want to be at the same place for all eternity?

 

I'm thinking that my soul is actually empty right now. I feel lonliness only whenever I'm at school but here, I never feel alone. So I'd say my soul is partially halfway full but never full.

 

You're opinion really, but strictly speaking we make of it what we want. In the way that our "soul" is able to shape us we're able to contribute to the "soul". Show a little confidence and talk a little more, you may find things aren't as lonely as they seem.

 

Well that's what I'm trying to do so far right now. And it's not going very well.
