Have you ever said 'I Love You' and you wern't in a relationship with him/her?

well....one of my friends says that...a lot.

and i don't like that, the way he uses it lowers the meaning of the word.

and he starts saying it to me just to tease me, but i'm not giving him the pleasure of getting mad XD.

well, anyways, i dislike how people slant the word like it's just meaningless.

I only say it to my family, but when it comes to a boy I'm with you shades,I onlt say it when I feel like I should, or I really really mean it.

 

Yes. I don't see what is so bad about it. My friend and I said: If the world ends, I love ya!

Uh, it really depends on the context in which you're expressing it.

If it's the "I love you!" in the sense of that person is your best friend and you love them as such, then it really doesn't matter.

If it's the actual "I love you" in the sense that you want to be with them (relationship wise or other), then it might be strange and not so wise to say it.

But I'm not in a relationship and I say it to most if not all my friends when I'm in a good mood. lawl

I'm gonna have to say yes, because i actually do love alot of people. They're in my hearts forever and such. I have a boyfriend that wouldn't mind if i told someone else i loved them, but it took him almost 2 months for him to say "i love you" back, so it's hard because he didn't really know. I do love most of my friends, and I tell them that too because i do xD

I've never said it in a romantic way to anyone unless I was dating them... and even then, I don't think I was in love. I don't think I've experienced real, romantic love yet. I throw around the words "I love you" a lot, just not in the romantic way.

 

I have. I told her that I loved her and that when I wake up she's the first thing I think about. (which on the account of me being a perv meant the thought of her involved Morning Wood) She was already in a relationship though and I really regretted it. So far I haven't spoken to her other than an occasional "Hi."

 

I've never said it to anyone not in my family, my parents are a BIT protective if you get what I mean.

I have only said "I love you" in a romantic sense if I really, truly believed it. There have only been two people that I can say I really, really loved. One of them knows but it was complicated as all hell, and the other one I never got the chance to tell. Love is a ***** like that :v

People say I Love You way too easily now, there never seems to be any real feeling behind it, more so they feel like they have to say it.​

 

I only say it to people when I mean it. I noticed lately that I do have some slight problems expressing affection--I don't know why--so I only say it when I'm sure it's true. I've only ever said it to my family, two of my close friends, and my current boyfriend.

I told my best friend recently to be careful how she uses the phrase, because she's said it to a whole lot of people. I'm not saying she lied to them--she may have thought she really was in love, or she's confused about what love is.

 

I tell my friends I love them a lot of times. I have no shame in it either. :D
