Have you ever said 'I Love You' and you wern't in a relationship with him/her?

I have. And I think that we're doing just fine. (: But sometimes it seems wrong, like when you are in another relationship with someone else. What do you think?

I know. Too many people pass around the word 'I Love You' as just another slang for 'Please Do Something'. Not as a 'I LOVE You'. I have had that situation only once, and I'm in it right now. (:

It's like drama, it should stay in the movie theatres........WHERE IT BELONGS!

To me, it's just a word that hollowly gets thrown around

Don't get me wrong, i enjoy a good romance as much as the next guy, but in reality? Love is very rare.

I'm not saying love isn't out there, that's just ridiculous, but what I AM saying is that true love, the REAL love that people talk about is as common as a Lunar eclipse =\

 

That's soo true. If my ex-boyfriend actually LOVED me, he would call me still today. But he forgot about me many months ago. I litteraly love someone right now, and I think I'll always be until I die.

What do you mean? Your 'dignity'? If you really love the person, diginity or not, you would say it.

 

I have done that to a girl I like,someone dared me to and I had to tell her I loved her,so I did and she said so back,but that was a year ago so,IDC,we dated but broke up waaay earlier in the year.

 

I don't know what love is and too be honest I don't think I ever will, i'm not what you'd call self confident but I have dignity and honour (weird I know)

 

Nope. Can't say i have. I'm not one for expressin' myself verbally so i doubt i will ever say it by mistake.

 

Well, not really. Unless it's to let them know how I feel so hopfully we will be in a relationship. But once I'm in one, which I'm in my second one now, I only say it to the girl I'm with.

 

I have self-esteem issues, and I still some-how find love. I am more shy then a box turtle, and yet LOVE IS HERE. I hate talking to people that will say 'I Love You' when they don't really mean it at all, either.

 

I used to hang around with people like that, then they tried making me say it. I got outta there faster than a bat out of France XD

Yes, but only to people I really love and care about.

 

I don't throw it around easily. There were moments in my life where i took the three words for granite and now I only say it when I mean it.

 

No one has ever said that to me. Perhaps only in a playful/childish manner but that's all.

 

I understand completely. I even catch myself saying it too. I throw it around sometimes. But when I say it like I mean it, I mean it. And if I say it, I want you to know it.

 

I sometimes slip up when i'm not paying attention and someone says something and catch me off guard then I freak out and try to take it back

 

I've never had it said to me in any sort of loving manner, more of a "I love you; you're wearing a Domo-kun t-shirt" or someting like that. I've done the same when someone makes a great joke or crack at somethin/one.
