Have you ever participated in a school play?

As I have tech rehearsal tonight starting at five (in about 40 minutes for those not fortunate enough to be in my time zone), I found myself wondering... I'm running spotlight, and probably lights too since the guy assigned is occasionally rather incompetant. XD

 

Yes, in my p7 owns production of Hotshot, I was the evil Fridger, I maintained the freezer device keeping the whole land frozen, me and my friend who was hotshot had a battle in song, it was beast, we were only in the last 2 scenes though, well he was in one before, but as a baby doll.

*mumbles* It went great, until at one part where my dagger (Don't ask) was stuck in my pants(during a scene where I had to lip-sing) , and I had to pull hard.
Let's just say it ended with the dagger flying into the audience >>; . Thank goodness nobody was hurt. And after that everything went fine lol.

 

I want you to know that made me literally laugh outloud. They probably thought it was part of the play... did you need the dagger for a later scene, though? >.>

 

No, but that dagger was a real dagger and was for one of my friends xD I think someone stole it...

 

Really? Interesting... all we have are plastic ones.

 

Not yet... I am not sure if I want to. I might. Cause I have acted before infront of a carma. And I can act pretty decently good, I can cry, and pretend to crack up, but in front of people.... Not as good....0.0

 

Really? (word of the day, appearently) I've also done a little work before camera, but I personally like stage so much better.

 

Thing is after the play everyone kinda teased me for what I did.
And I had forgotten all about it until today ;_; Thanks for making me remember horrible memories *cries*

That explains the mental disorder you have.
Playing an english woman at 9-10 years old can traumitize a person...<_<

 

I acted once in year two as a christmas cracker xD

but most plays im a narrator :(

In primary school I played the narrator in almost every play V.V

Lol, nahh it's just I was like the bookworm and everytime the person from the class of the teacher who organised came in and asked for a narrator, everyone turned and looked at me x.x

I was originally going to be spotlight, but then the head quit. So now I get to play with the lightboard. 8D

My lackey is my friend. I get to boss him around a lot, which is fun. ^^
But on days we have stage crew, I have to be there to 6, meaning I'm at school from 8 AM to 6 PM. ;_;

Yes , about 3 times I guess , I was a townsperson , a Ringmaster , and a Clown . . .

I hated when I got the part of a clown . . . -_-

And I write Kingdom Hearts Scripts , they are usually my work , me and my Friends at School used to act out KH plays , it was fun . ^ ^
