Have you ever done or believe in doing drugs? (Examples: Cocain, meth, or marijuanna?)

..If this is innappropriate, it can be deleted. This is out of curiosity. Some people believe drugs are okay and others don't. Some people have done them, others haven't.

I've never done drugs and I don't believe in them. If they're used for medical reasons (Which some are) then I'm fine with that.

 

Do I believe in drugs, no, i would never take something like that to screw up my body.
Technically caffeine is a drug, and therefore I am a hypocrit. But I would never get high, or shoot myself up if that is what you are asking.

 

Caffeine is a drug, but it's not something that will screw up your ENTIRE life. Drugs such as cocaine, marijuanna, and meth are so addicting if you take it once, you'll be addicted for the rest of your life. (So I've read and heard.)

If you take it once, it can also kill you the first time. So it is VERY dangerous.

 

Drugs make you dependant on one thing.Thats bad either way.

Hmm...well, I believe that certain drugs can screw up your life really bad. So I don't want to take the bad ones. Just the good ones and caffeine. I never intend to use bad drugs so....yea...

But what I do intend is to try and keep my kids away from them in the future. I don't want them getting addicted to any of that crap....​

 

I agree with basically everyone else. I'm okay with caffiene, well for one, I'm already addicted to it XD.

But the other ones will just really mess with your head and make you addicted. And I don't want to take something that messes with my mind.

 

Yes, most, no, ALL of the other bad drugs just wanna f**k your mind to h**l and back...

Exactly. Drugs seem a bit ridiculous to me. Sure I understand some people get drawn to them, but really, getting invovled in things that mess with your mind, make you want it, it basically controls you. Then your family members get upset with you that you took drugs to cope with a problem...

In some religions, using marijuanna is a sacred thing used for prayers. But, overall, I just think it is a dangerous thing to use.

First, you get addicted and addiction is a VERY bad thing. Second, your health will decline. (No matter what.)

Thirdly, and probably the least threatening one, you WILL get in trouble with the law.

 

If it's for medicinal uses, understandable but a person who is in a deep personal ring of mine does it almost everyday, and I just shake my head in disgust. I tell them to quit, you know what I get? "But it helps my stomach problem, and it's the only way I eat." They why don't I EVER see with a god ^%&$ plate of food after you take in that ^%&*?! I just, hate it. :/ You know what is worse? Said person promised me that they would quit. *scoff* Everytime they smoke, I go up to my room, I don't want to inhale that stuff.

Person is going to drive themselves into an early grave, watch. >_>

 

I might do it once or twice, however I haven't done it before. In my opinion we only live once, I'm willing to try it, but I won't be doing it routinely. Quite frankly I find it a little strange that people are so against it when as long as you take it in MODERATION, it's fine. There's really nothing to be afraid of if you have self control. Really, we all have the right to do whatever we want with our bodies, I think that should follow the trend with drugs. Either legalize them, or make pregnancy, alcohol, cigarettes, hairstyles, fashion choices, piercings, surgery, sex, masochism, tattooing, shaving, eating, breathing, movement, and photographs of yourself illegal as well. People should have the right to do what they want, and instead of treating addicts and dealers like criminals, we should be treating them like the sick individuals they are, they need help that we can give to them instead of punishing them for being reckless with their bodies.

 

I can see where your coming from. However, you have never inhaled or taken marijuanna. I doubt you would not get addicted. If you prove me wrong and take it, fine, you win and your right. But most of the drug addicts said the same thing: I'll just try it once. Now, their lives are ruined-FOREVER.

Another point, people are against it because people don't take it in moderation. They keep doing it daily. People kill for marijuanna. People die for marijjuana. Innocent people die. I'm not saying you will kill someone, you might be responsible with it and use it in moderation. But there are so many idiots out there using it, there shouldn't be a question why it isn't legal. People don't misuse breathing, (might misuse eating for fat people), pregnancy is a normal activity of life, shaving is needed for men who don't want beards, tattoing doesn't get anyone killed, sex was a good thing but people have made it into a bad thing, people have made surgery a bad thing ( such as plastic surgery), and piercings do not kill people.

You also said you only live once. That's true, but you can ruin your life in an instant if your not responsible with marijjuana. Drug Dealers should be punished. They are breaking the law and therefor should be punished. Drug dealers ruin peoples lives. So why not punish them?

 

That's true. But, not everyone in the world has great self-control. The reasons drugs are illegal and such, is probably not because people harm themselves. It's because people can harm others. Alcohol, Marijuana, LSD, and other drugs impair decision making, and more than one person has died from drug related accidents, where the person on the drugs has survived.

 

Drug dealers often end up in their positions due to circumstance and situation. The only reason that most black people in the "hood" do drugs or sell them is because it's socially accepted in their area, and drug dealing is often the only thing they can do to make a lot of money quickly to take care of expenses and make sure they themselves don't die. I'll be the first to admit that drugs can ruin lives, I have druggy friends, but legalizing them will allow people to take a step back, and try to fix the people who have been destroyed by drugs, instead of throwing them in jail for a stupid mistake.

The whole point of freedom is allowing someone to do what they please, allowing people to make mistakes, to go down the wrong path if they want to. You can't stop people from doing drugs, it's impossible, but you can change the view of drugs, and turn it from something deplorable and disgusting into something that needs to be taken care of peacefully, not by force. The people that kill and die for drugs are the ones who need help, we should be helping them. The whole point I'm trying to get across here is that drugs are a fine thing, that people have turned into a bad thing. And it's not just the people who use them as a part of their daily routine, it's the people in charge who look down on the poor and the hungry and condemn them for something as stupid as substance abuse.

And just to clarify, I made that list as a way to show all the freedoms we have and all the control we have over our bodies, if we have these freedoms, why not the freedom to take drugs?

 

You have no idea how much I hate drugs.I hate seeing people that do it because they are ruining their lives(the bad ones)But of course its none of my business but still I just hate seeing people doing drugs.

 

I wouldn't ever do any of the really hard drugs that can kill you, but in my life, regarding i wont last forever, I probably wouldn't object to trying smoking some hash or something once, just for the buzz.

 

There's more deaths a year from alcoholism then cocaine, marijuana, and LSD combined. Prohibiton was ended because people revolted that it was taking away their personal rights. Drugs aren't any different.

 

I understand what your saying and your making good points. But, overall, there are too many non-responsible people in this world that are too idiotic to use drugs in the way you say. =[

 

They should, however, have the rights to be idiots. And when they fall due to their own stupidity, it's up to those still standing to pick them up.
