Haunted Island of Mystery

"Well," Riku said, "that makes one person, who's actually told us thier name. I'm Riku."

"I'm Sora." Sora said.

 

"Then it's settled, I'm the leader" Axel confirmed with a prideful smile, gliding his gloved hands over the wet surface of his cloak. It still hadn't dried, and it was getting uncomfortable, especially for the clothes under. He didn't mind having the responsibility for a while, though Marluxia and Demyx would pose a problem for his sanity and patience, he will try his best to rest his temper. He had a nasty one. "Though I'll only take your suggestions if they're worth taking. For now, though, we should find a place to rest, or a cave. Something to protect us. Islands have harsh storms unexpectedly. Then, we could look for other people if we have the time. Unless they bother us, they're not important."

He quirked his eyebrows sarcastically. "Is that okay with you, oh second-in-command?"

 

A slight smile passed briefly over Larxene's face, as she remarked, "Fine, we'll search for a cave then...as there doesn't seem to be much other place to stay in, unless you include the forest as a good choice."
She doubted the forest was safe at all, really, as Demyx had heard a wolf howling there...although together, they were all stronger than any pack of wolves...although it wouldn't prove wise to fall asleep there, unable to rest peacefully without being on guard.
Looking at Axel, she realized that he was still quite wet, and he would need to get his clothes dry soon...or he might catch a cold, or something worse...

 

OCC: what has been happening?

 

"Let´s go" Metal Sonic said to Lacus as he walked away.

 

Not knowing what else to do, she nodded firmly and followed him, wondering where he was going to lead her. He had the upperhand, and she wasn't going to risk it. Regardless, Lacus needed to ask. "Where are we going?"

"Let's start searching then, better do it now than later," Axel somewhat ordered, feeling a surge of power go through him as he said it. It wasn't enough to take him over, he wasn't that selfish or power-hungry, but it sure felt amazing. This what Xemnas did every day, that lucky b*stard.

Scratching his now dry hair, his eyes circled around their spot, trying to see where it was possible to find a cave. He halted at the rocks he had spotted earlier, and pointed at it to Larxene and the rest, "We can look over there. What better place to find a cave than in rocks? And I need to get my clothes dried."

 

"Trying to get out of here" Metal Sonic said.

 

"Alright then, Mr. Leader," Larxene said, teasingly, as she began to walk towards the rocks, glancing behind herself to make sure everyone else was following. She just hoped Marluxia and Demyx wouldn't get into an argument again when they reached it...

Mint turned and saw a pink-haired girl, talking to a robot. Did they know what was happening? She walked over to them and said, "Um, excuse me..."

 

"Huh? Where are you going?" Sora asked.

"Sora, we need to get going too. We want to get home as quickly as possible, right?"

"Oh, yeah!"
"I have some wood for the raft. I was going to find something to tie it with when I heard the first explosion."
"Okay."

Sora and Riku then went back into the forest and continiued to search for some sort of vine or something. They couldn't find anything, but Sora gathered some firewood while they were in the forest.

"It's getting late." Riku mentioned.
"We should probably get back to the beach," Sora said.

They made their way through the forest, and back to the spot where Riku had set the wood for the raft earlier. Sora set the firewood a few yards away from the wood to be used for the raft.
He drew his keyblade, and said,
"Fire!"
Two flames cirled around him for a second, and lit the small pile on fire. It burned brightly. Sora dismissed his Keyblade, and sat down.

"So, heh, where are we supposed to sleep?"

OOC: I've never RP'd Riku before. How am I doing?

 

"Walking, right?" Lacus questioned, not sure if immitating other's power was the only thing he was capable of. Maybe he could do something else she wasn't aware of right now. She stopped, though, as she heard a soft young female voice behind them, and looked over her shoulder, finding a blue clad haired girl peering up. She sounded nice and polite enough, and Lacus smiled. Another survivor. "Yes?"

Axel made sure he walked in front of everyone else, ignoring Laxrene's quip. It was a natural action for him to take, or rather, he was following more of Xemnas' leadership skills on behavior. Though he could hold his own really, he just wanted to make the rest see he was the boss. Glancing behind to check on the group, he quickly stared back in front as there wasn't anything out of place.

He touched one of the boulders as they reached it, looking like a huge cliff, long enough that it went inside the forest and the other end settled on the water, waves lapping at the rocks. Studying them, they appeared steep, and deep, but there had to be a small cavern somewhere. Walking more to the right side as he explored, darting his eyes for anything that can hint of a opening, he froze as he saw a gorge the size of a normal human, a bit bigger maybe. It was a bit further back from the shore and closer to the forest, but far away to not worry about any attacks or visitors. "Found one!"

Now he just hoped it was wide and big enough to fit them.

 

Metal Sonic looked at Mint.

 

Sharix walked around the island. She stood near the sea.

 

"I was wondering...do you two know where exactly we are?" Mint asked. "I mean, I know we're on an island, but does it have a name? And do you know how to get out of here?"
She knew she was bombarding questions on a complete stranger, but this place was starting to tire her out, and she just wanted out, to be back at her mansion where it was safe...well, most of the time.
"I'm sorry," she quickly apologized, realizing she must've sounded a bit rude. "I don't mean to ask you so many questions like this, but I'd really like to know..."

Larxene could see that Axel was really taking this responsibility in stride, and just when he thought he couldn't get more egotistical. A wry smile curled her lips as she thougt of this, when she heard him point out cave he found.
Looking over at where he was gesturing, she voiced his thoughts, "Hopefully it's wide enough for all of us."

 

OOC: Going to bed, hopefully I'll find out where that burning smell is coming from befre I go to sleep. I sure as h3ll hope that it's just my computer overheating.

"The answer to all of that is "I don´t know"" Metal Sonic said.

 

Lacus nodded to her sadly at Metal Sonic's answer, in agreement, also just as lost as she was. The girl seemed tired and nostalgic, and Lacus felt like she needed to help her. "It's okay. But like he said, we don't know either. If you want to, though, you can come with us, of course, if Metal Sonic doesn't mind."

She glanced at Metal expectantly, waiting to see what he would say on the matter.

Axel just sent Larxene a dry stare, mostly on the fact that he said his hope outloud, and he strolled fast over to the hole he had found, using a bit of his gifted speed that he was granted on his fighting skills. He peered closely at it at first when he reached it in a few moments, before swinging his legs over a rock standing in between, and getting to the opening. It was bigger than he expected from what he guessed far away, and it was wide enough for two people to get in at the same time. Perfect. More to their advantage.

Careful not to slip or trip, he made his way inside first, igniting a large fire with his hand to light up the tunnel so he could see it clearly. As his eyes met their soon to be fort, he gave a silent cheer of relief.

Not only was it spacious and huge, taking a circular shape, it was empty and clean, or at least it wasn't covered in weeds or dirt as usual. There were leaves, and other things scattered, but the place was comfortable, roomy, and entirely theirs. Excited at the sight, he shouted to his comrades outside, his voice echoing off the thick stone walls, "Guys, come in! Look at it!"

 

Mint looked at the two, uncertain of whether it was wise for her to be with them. The robot, if it was like any of the aliens she had encountered...that wouldn't be safe. As for the girl...she was a complete stranger. Should she really trust her? She might seem nice, but was she truly trustworthy?
Despite her doubts, she knew it would be better to travel with them, then alone...it was safer that way...unless she should just stick with that man she met earlier...although he had wanted to hunt down animals, so was he really any better? But who knew how these two behaved?

Larxene cautiously made her way into the tunnel and looked around, her eyes widening with the same excitement Axel had.
"This cave doesn't seem so bad," she remarked, looking around. "Although I wonder...with all these leaves and such here...has someone else lived here before...?"

 

"I don't think so, as it may just been here from the strong winds of the storms or something to that affect. But who knows?" Axel responded absentmindedly, as he stared around the ground at the leaves, and there were a few sticks and branches, he noted as well. Little, but what they will need for now until they adjust.

Bending down to gather them up, he went into the process of collecting them in his arms, placing them one by one in the middle of their newfound cave. They were light, and not heavy, so the gathering wasn't so hard, thankfully. When he was done, managing not to clear off the blaze that still flickered in his hand, he put it near a branch where its point was sticking out, and lit it on fire. Straightening up to stand, he watched as it quickly spread the embers, turning it into a bonfire in a matter of seconds, the stronghold sputtering with orange brightness and glow.

How he loved his element.
