Seriously I'm asking why do you all seem to spew hatred from your mouth when someone mentions Kingdom Hearts Days. It's not that bad. You think that it was supposed to be the best game in the world hearing all the critism from it. I enjoyed up to the end. Once I was done playing it I realized how much I hated how when attacking enemies that they were able to attack me. There was no flinching until a certain attack was done on them. That was the only thing I disliked about the game. So tell me. Why do you hate this game? Or maybe you don't? Tell me your thoughts.

Also I've heard many complaints about Xion. Why? Tell me if you hate her and why? I don't have a problem with her.

Well, I wouldn't say that I hate the game. When I first played it, I enjoyed playing the game. A lot of people mainly hate this game because it's a sequel that's keeping them from their precious Kingdom Hearts 3. I think that's why everyone hates these portable games (the exception of course being Birth by Sleep). That's why Re: Coded is the least popular game probably, even though I think Re: Coded is a much better game than Days. I personally think these side-sequels help tell a better story than trying to cram all this information down our throats in one game.

I do have a dislike for the game though. For me, it's the worst in the franchise. Don't get me wrong, the story is great and some of the fights are really fun. However, a lot of the character interactions seemed more like garbage fan fiction than actually dialogue. Also, many of the "boss" fights were designed for four-person combat, making it EXTREMELY difficult to beat if you have no friends around you (like me). And, in the end, the game is just too repetitive. There are just too many missions in this game to make you want to replay it.

I've been wandering this as well, I quite enjoyed it, the only thing that put me off majorly was the slow leveling rate. It's not my favourite but I wouldn't say it's the worst either, I prefer it to Coded I think.

I did get annoyed with the enemies being able to attack you but that wasn't something that stuck out horribly until you just mentioned it. I did really enjoy the storyline and I cried at the end, I do find some of the challenges quite difficult which has made it hard to be motivated enough to play.

To be honest, I started to not like it just because everyone else was hating on it so I automatically took up their opinions. But thinking about it, I thoroughly enjoyed playing it.

What are you talking about? I really liked Days. It was something to do when I was bored, and hey, a Kingdom Hearts game is a Kingdom Hearts game. Sure, it was just a filler so people would quit complaining about Kingdom Hearts III (but for some people, it just made them complain about 'stalling'), but I always wanted to know about Roxas' time in the Organization.

    I mean, sure, I didn't like Xion...but hey, beggars can't be choosers.

That's something I forgot to mention. Why did people hate Xion? All I remember from before days was that people were excited to find out about the 14th memeber. Now all I here is that she ruined the story. I don't get it. The only thing that I thought of was weird was that She looked like Ven to Xaldin. (Which I think is explained in BBS which I haven't played so don't ruin it.)

I remember after playing KH2 thinking they should make a game about Roxas' story and then when it was announced I was so happy. Plus when I first heard of a 14th member I was filled with joy. However, I did like her but there was something that annoyed me about her, probably her secrecy and the fact she wasn't a proper person, I don't know.

I think the main reason people took a huge disliking to it is because they didn't want fillers, they want KH3, which you said so obviously they're going to have a negative mind set to begin with but I don't think the game play helped. I don't know why so many didn't like it but that's one of the reasons that probably set them off.

Honestly, I like Xion; she's my favorite female protagonist. People dislike her because they see her as an unnecessary addition to the series, but I don't agree to that. Her character was very deep and well thought out. The Roxas-Xion-Axel storyline was very interesting and very well thought out.

It's the rest of the story I have a problem with. Yeah, I was excited about the game because we were going to see what when on between Chain of Memories and the second game. However, this isn't really the story I expected. Like I said before, it felt like a fan fiction written by a 14 year old fangirl who were big Zexion and Demyx fans. It didn't really go in depth and had no character development outside the three main characters. Even the relationship between Axel and Siax seemed forced. In Kingdom Hearts 2, I would never would have been able to guess that the two of them were friends.

I'm quite indifferent of the game to be honest. I got bored of it fairly quickly and never got past the first 70 or so days.
I guess I was a little disappointed, since for a long time I was a huge Organization fan-girl (at least a fan-girl for certain members >.<), and the game just wasn't that interesting to me, it didn't really add anything to my view of the Org. I mean, the Axel and Saix knowing each other before hand thing was a cool twist, but I found that out by accident before getting the game, so I managed to learn everything I needed about it on-line.
It had some cute moments, but mostly it was rather dull.

I personally have absolutely nothing against Xion, but I wasn't terribly saddened to see her go either. Again, mainly felt indifference towards her.

It's probably just me. And even when I heard about a fourteenth member to Organization XIII, I still didn't like her. I justified this by saying "She was the FOURTEENTH member to an organization that had their name stating their number as THIRTEEN.

Don't misunderstand, she's a good character and even though she was pointless addition, her story was deep and well thought out. Regardless, I still don't like her, she's just...

I'm just bias against a few female characters in any show, game, movie, yadda, yadda, yadda...

But yeah, I like Namine though.

I beat this game, although I'm not sure why.
Don't get me wrong- it's fun, and better then Coded by a landslide, but it's not really so important. I found no storyline important information AT ALL. Sure, relationships got more thought out, but isn't that for fanfics?

And also, it's quite repetitive as mentioned earlier. I mean, how many of the same types of missions can you face just to see more un-interesting story?

On Xion- she IS an unnecessary part of the series. You're calling her a female lead, and maybe she was- IN THIS GAME.
She wasn't in other games, and her actions have very little effect. I mean, nobody remembers her. Maybe something interesting comes into play in KH3, although it's doubtful, honestly. I liked her character- no, really- but they could have DONE MORE.

However, this game has a special place in my heart as it's the first Kingdom Hearts game I played start to finish. I played Kingdom Hearts, but it was borrowed from a friend, and thus was not finished until much later. Chain of Memories never really took on for me, and KHII wasn't a plausible option at that time. I have now completed all games aside from BbS start to finish, and understand how much better the other games are.

So really, it's just nothing special, and it's story kinda sucks. It's fun though, so it has that going for it.

It's okay, but personally it's not one of those games I see myself replaying over and over again. I mean, I may go back just to play for a quick second but I just felt that the controls were buggy while playing and it got pretty boring after the first few missions. I don't dislike Xion, I just felt that they way they portrayed her could have been much better.

To be honest, this game wasn't bad, but some of the enemies and bosses were just a bit unfair that it made me rage.
Like when you got out of the enemies range, they would disappear, then come back with full health. And don't even get me started on those teleporting enemies >.>

I rather liked the game. i realize that many people were angry that it wasnt KH3, but i prefer that it wasnt, really. it answered a lot of questions i had from KH2. i played KH2 before CoM, and for most of the game my only thought was "WHAT THE F*** IS GOING ON?!?!?" so, yeah, id rather get all of the answers out of the way before i have to ask them.

358/2 Days was my first-ever KH game (but I was addicted to the series long before then; I still watch the cutscenes on this website).

I was addicted to the game, but there were parts that I didn't like - including the slightly dodgy camera controls, the repetitiveness of some of the missions and Xion (enough said). Then Birth By Sleep came along and my Days addiction faded away.

However, I do love that you can play as my favourite Organization XIII members on Mission Mode. :D I barely play the game now, but when I do, it's always to go on Mission Mode.

Wow I can finally log in without the forum being slow. Anyway I like playing the Mission Modes as well. Even though it is more fun if I have someone to play with. Shoot I am still trying to get all of the secret reports now. I have one level that is not 100% yet and it is Xion's fault because she runs right into Roxas when I go after the organizaiton symbols. I can't get them all with the green glow yet. Xion is a pain in the ass yet it irks me that they put more cut scenes and took out parts just to add more of her.

I love you and i love Days. It's my favorite one story wise. I love how it's about roxas. anyone who hates it should re-evaluate some life choices. The only thing i don't like is the leveling up system, and the graphics aren't the best, but defiantly great for the DS. (wish it was on the PSP to begin with...)

Personally, this game (and re:com) is my favorite!!!! I just LOVE organization XIII. The actual gameplay was easy for me to use, and I got through the game pretty quickly. I must admit, that it was not very challenging, but I kind of like it that way. The story was awesome, and I love Xion. I thought the game was pretty emotional, and I liked that because Nobodies aren't supposed to have emotion, so I enjoyed that much at least.

I like reading entries from the other Nobody's journals after you beat the game. I do wish that there were more, and I wish that it said who wrote them, even though MOST of the time I could figure that out. I guess I just want to know more about the other Nobodies in general. Especially Marluxia, Larxene, and Vexen.

I found that Xion was a character hard not to like, if not at least feel sorry for. She was the 14th member all along, but was considered so insignificant and simply worthless by everyone else that she's not even given a Org XIII seat. In the end she finds a purpose in life, but at the cost of her existence.
