Has anyone seen the latest episode of House?

Omg somebody please say you've seen it so you can vent with me. I don't want to give anything away... but... WHAT THE HELL WERE THE WRITERS THINKING?

 

NOOOOOO, and quit torturing me...i have tried to find it but i can't....DON"T SPOIL IT.....!!!!1

 

Ehhhh in all honesty my liking for House decreased rapidly after like the second season >> don'tshootme.

 

I didn't see it, but I accidentally read about the "big event" that made this episode so special so I looked up the recap for this episode.

Kal Penn (Kutner) accepted the position of Associate Director of the White House Office of Public Liason under the Obama administration so the writer's scripted Kutner's death to end Penn's role in the show

 

I haven't even read anything about it yet because I didn't want to spoil it...and one of my friends said that it was amazingly sad and nobody tell me....your on my list CtR...! lol jk

Yes I agree it was much better before. I'm happy the old team is still at the hospital at least. But I've gotten used to the new team...

...Which is why the episode pissed me off so much!! Why couldn't it have been Taub?? Or, in all honesty, ANYONE but Kutner?? He was the best... and now there won't be any comic relief...

 

To answer your question of why, He was set to all ready leave the show after being tapped as a consultant for President Obama. He was one of my favorite's on the show, but the fact that he didn't have any episodes 'dedicated' to furthering his story made him seem like a secondary character.

By dedicated I mean like 13's huge stories, Taub's battle with cheating on his wife and money issues.

 

That's true, but to me he seemed like he had the most promise. He was having more and more epiphanies on how to solve cases, sometimes even solving them before House, and House seemed so proud of him.

I just wish he'd left the show in another way... I mean, that was pretty freaking gruesome. And so out of the blue...

 

And I believe that is why they built him up like this to make his death resonate that much inside House and make his action's mean so much more. It's exactly like what Wilson said, "You didn't see this coming, you think you are losing your talent to read people."

It was one of the better episodes of the season, i'll give them that.

 

Good point. It did really shake me up, and kept me glued to the screen, so I guess that's a good thing. Poor House. That was so sad when he found the picture of him looking all sad and distant at the end... I was in denial right up until that (I was trying to cling so some silly idea that it was all a dream or something...). This is going to bother House forever.

I can't wait for next week's episode.
