I was just looking at the Metal Gear Solid Storyline and i've noticed that civilisation is slowly moving towards those scenarios.Rail guns are already in development, stealth camo is currently in development.PMC's are out on some of our battlefields and there has been a rise in genetics in the past few years.War is growing around the world and putting money into the pockets of the rich hence creating a small war Economy.Doesn't anyone see whats happening? What we've seen in Metal Gear Solid is slowly coming to life.

Well...I'm not sure if MGS came up with those first, but I have noticed that. Iron man suits were thought about by the army, but denied.

Actually, Metal Gear Solid is probably inspired by real life instead of the other way around. Yeah, that makes a lot more sense.

Well hideo really had a good team who did alot of research and if you get the MGS database then you'll see that most of the stuff the is involved in the game is actually fact.
Soon they'll be making genome soldiers.

i seriously doubt that giant robots will be built with the purpose of nuking everyone. and i seriuosly doubt Genome Soldiers as well. besides, unlike the previous games, the 4th game wasn't anything impressive. just because the same technology is invented doesn't mean much, it's not a reflection on how it will be used.

The 4th had plenty of story but not thatsame ide as number one and two where if you where in alert there was no such thing as fighting your way out.Military Industrial complex is losing all it's morality these days and i wouldn't put it pass them to genetically manipulated people or creating bipedal nucular tanks.

i disagree with military losing morality. i think that they have more than they had in the past actually (as a whole, i'm not referring to any single country). and cloning people is currently banned if i recall correctly. and even if the same technology is invented, it doesn't mean it's all going to be used for stupid reasons like in those fictional stories.

It will either stay the same, lean towards peace or lead towards war.
Those are the three scenarios with whats happening.

I don't see it. Just because we've mad advancements in genetics and such doesn't mean we'll automatically start using them on people. And I doubt we're going to see any cyborg ninjas anytime soon. There are wars, but none of them seem to be currently "growing" we'll pull out of Iraq by 2011 (I THINK - don't mark me on that either way the Iraq war is coming to a close now that Obama is president elect).

Just because we're slowly advancing in certain areas doesn't mean it'll be turned to war and stuff. MGS4 is often assailed for its terrible plot anyway.

There was a guy who created THE coolest Halo-esque armor for the army to use... in fact, he suggested they use it... and got quite a bit of attention...

For some reason, the necessity to do a photo-shoot came up, and now it's like he's a celebrity--for giving better ways for killing people.

I was under the impression that the world in MGS was what Hideo Kojima predicted how the future would be like. I wouldnt say its going to turn out like it with Cyborg Ninjas popping out of nowhere and being totally badass. We'd probably see an increase of technology and violence depending on what happens next. Until that day comes over when all hell breaks loose, all we can do is act now and wonder what's in store for us.

The future is not set in stone.

I think a Metal Gear Rex is very possible at the rate technology is moving, and even in the future Metal Gear Ray may be sent into the Pacific ocean to attack undetected.

Bad grammer and this is just spam you noob. The invention of a nuclear bipedal tank is a possiblity at the rate of technology. To launch nuclear weapons like that is guaranteed to entice governments to send some to the out skirts of iraq.
