i agree on that, since the shield is his main weapon, also there's a shield with the turtle pattern on it.

 

I've never really thought about why Goofy would always be turtle (all posts here makes sense though) - what really had me questioning was why Donald became an octopuss and another type of bird. (the last one made me wonder if it was meant as a fill in for Zazu)

 

Why does it matter if he's a turtle or a tortise!? I think that Goffy has a pet turtle (or a TORTISE). He is mentely linked to the turtle, like Eragon anf Saphira(who is a dragon), and is a legendary TURTLE RIDER!

yeah i agree he might be slow minded but sometimes he is smart because sora and donald have more haste and dont proceed with caution lol
