Kingdom Hearts II Has anyone else realized about Goofy..

He always gets turned into a turtle?

i find that weird.
but, kinda funny.

 

He actually he turns into a turtle and a tortise. very diffrent. I think.

Hmm, well I thought that turtles were always slow, so comparing Goofy's mind to a turtle, then kinda connect. I always thought it was a joke.

 

I always thought it was because Goody is based on defense, and turtles and tortoises have hard shells, therefore good defense.

Well that's how i always saw it.

 

Well Goofy's weapon is a shield and the purpose of a turtle/tortoise shell is to do just that. It really just adds up.

 

Well, as long as he has a shell and ends up being the shortest. xD It's the shield's fault. If he didn't have that for a weapon, I'm sure he'd turn into something else.

 

Yeah, this is why Goofy gets turned into a turtle or tortoise. The shell on the turtle represents a natural body armor and Goofy is a defender who uses a shield as his prominent weapon. I doubt it had anything to do with his intelligence or how fast he moved otherwise.

 

In Kingdom Hearts, he seems to be the wisest of the three, even if he is the Goofyest.

 

It's pretty much, like the others said because of his weapon, but the slow walking comparing to the slow mind could be another reason all the more, because there are also other animals that have hard 'shields' to protect them, like the Armadilo (:

 

I never thought of Goofy's shell as his sheild...

 

He's a sea turtle in atlantica
And he's a normal turtle in the pride lands

 

Goofy uses a shield, and the purpose of a turtle's shell is to protect. It kind of represents him.

Dragons: ...No, I never thought about it before, but it makes sense.
Turtles survive by deflecting the blows from outside. And Goofy is a Defender, with his sheld and all.
Plus, like turtles, Goofy is an easy-going person/dog.

his character is in essence a friend that will do anything to protect you. hes been like that since his conception by walt disney as the lovable oaf type character so it is just a representation of his personalty

 

I think its funny

 

The difference between a turtle and tortoise is a turtle (which Goofy was in Atlantica) has almost flipper-like feet, and a tortoise (which he was in the Pride Lands) has......... feet. :D

 

It makes sense......

Its still funny though!
