Yes, that walk through the forest to his death... I was teary but mostly just glued to the book. The way it was written... so powerful, holy cow.

I found a great piece of fan art that someone drew for the "I open at the close" part.

1.Did the ending of Harry Potter live up to what you thought? Why or Why not?

I can answer this question in many ways. Let me start with the beginning. I think that the book was amazing, to say the least. The first chapter was dramatic, the second was so so. I hate how some chapters or parts felt rushed. Such as the kiss between Ron and Hermione, which seemed a bit too GIRLISH, WB DRAMAISH...I think that it should not have been in that chapter, or in that part alltogether. It should have been earlier, so it did not seem as though they were busy with their personal lives. People were dying outside. The ending was okay, I love the TWISTED ENDING. With the Death Wands and stuff. The nineteen years later epilogue was very predictable, in a HAPPY way. I don't like the names though. Yes its out of mourning and respect, but seriously, does ALBUS SEVERUS POTTER match well? It was still okay. FRED COME BACK TO LIFE PLEASE!! [/I]

2: Do you think the last two movies will live up to the rest now that all the HP Fans know how the series had ended? Why or Why not?

Well, basically, the first 5 movies came out after the books, but I don't really care if they live up to the books, because they never live up to the books. The first 4 movies sucked in my opinion. Bad realization for the book, bad scenes, worse acting. I loved the 5th movie, it wasn't following the book in parts, but it was OKAY. The second movie was really good <3. Rupert Grint is HOT. The last two movies are going to be good, if they get rid of Daniel Radcliffe LOL.

3: What are your views of Snape? (Mainly for readers who have finished the 7th book.)

I love Snape. I have always loved snape. I always call him SNAPLE. lol. He was loyal, and I hate that he died. He was one of my favourite characters, after Dumbledore died, I still thought Snape was good. And we found out he was. The tale of the Prince was the sadest and best chapter of the book. I hate how he was mean to Lily, but I like that he still loved her. He was the bravest person in the book, aside from Harry, and HE SHOULD NOT HAVE DIED =(

    EDIT>>> Closing Remarks.

THE BOOK WAS MAGNIFICENT! AMAZING!!!! JK ROWLING has made an amazing series, and I don't care if she is making children books next, i will read them all <3

well although i thought the ending was kind like normal u know the good wins the evil dies and every1 is happy it was still a good book and the ending was okay i guess and i don't think the last 2 movies will live up to the rest cuz the 5th one rly wasnt that good so i kinda doubt the rest will b n e better but who knows and although i always hated snape my feeling toward him r kinda confused cuz he always seemed like the bad guy but noe its like things just turned around so i'm not quite sure

I loved the seventh book. Loved it loved it FREAKIN' LOVED IT!!! It's, by far, my favorite of the series. It brought out all of my emotions, like any good book should. Seriously, I spent, in all, probably three hours crying and two hours laughing. (Took me 13 hours to finish it) I think she finished up a wonderful series very, VERY well. The only thing I didn't like was the fact that now we can't have Harry Potter guessing games anymore. And, for the record, I loved the epilogue, because I'm a sucker for cute endings like that! So there!

As for the movies, ever since Chris Columbus stopped making them, I haven't liked them near as much. I can't possibly see how they're going to make this book into a good movie. I just don't. The only scene I really saw working was with the locket horcrux. Y'know, with the Riddle-Harry and Riddle-Hermione. Maybe Snape's death, because I think Alan Rickman is such a fantastic actor and I can totally see him doing that scene perfectly.

And I have always loved Snape. Always. I always knew that he had some good in him, somewhere. Plus, I just love how nasty his character is. It's like Malfoy. But, when I got the book, they had "Snape is Loyal" and "Snape's a traitor" stickers. I proudly slapped the "Snape is Loyal" sticker on my "Quibbler"! (Yes, I dressed up as Luna Lovegood.)

I heard something about her writing a little part of the Epilogue more, but that's about it.

    I say she's done. Unfortunately.

yep. i love harry potter, trust me, but no, i don't want an 8th book...

7th was good, a very good ending, and its better to end it there than to add things to it, i'll just get bored.

the 4th book was the best, to me...

but i would be glad if she wrote a book about Lily and James, thats what I heard, she was going to write something about them, their years at Hogwarts (even stated on her website).

^ Oh wow, a book on Lilly and James would definatly be a change....

The only thing I hated about book 7 was the fact that Harry married Ginny. My good, GINNY!! That disgusts me on so many levels...of course, that's just me.

    LOL

yeah, sometimes I hate her, sometimes I don't. i think she can be downright annoying at times, but others, she is really caring, and obviously loves harry.

but then she is rude...and a player...a girl player. LOL

That's a bit uncalled for. A player? So if I marry someone who's a PLAYER is LOL type?

Anyways, Ginny seems nice and fitting for Harry. But they rushed on the romance between them and Hermione and Ron.

eh not really. just saying its funny.

okay, what I meant was that, she went with too many guys, saying shes in love with Harry. I mean, first Michael, but she breaks up with him, then Dean, and she kind of leads him on.

    Then Harry.

Its not like its bad to date. but it still was wrong.

ARG don't get me started with Hermione and Ron. I love them, Ron's my favourite character, but JK made them go too fast. I mean...why would they kiss in the middle of a BATTLE! That made me so mad. I was like, WTF, when I read the book.

I was pretty satisfied. It had a good ending and answered all my questions.

And the ending left plenty for the HP fanfiction writers to work with.

    I was very satisfied.

There was plenty of stuff in that book I wasn't expecting whatso-freakin'-ever.

    Rowling, you've done it again.

The movie should be pretty damn hot.

I agree. Steve Van der Ark wasn't too happy with it either. He even made up a new spell for it: Expelliepilogus! :laughing-smiley-004
