Harry did die, he got AKed by Voldemort but came back from the dead and to answer these questions.

    1. I didn't like the Epilogue, it sounded like crap fanfiction, ALBUS SEVERUS??? That dosen't even make sense like the person above me said I wanted more death and blood, it's a bloody war people, that means hundreds of people die, not just 78 people.

    2. Deathly Hallows is going to kinda hard to make because of all the information was important, and that would make a 3-4 hour film, and no doubt people will be wanting to go to the toilets so what the moves can't do that the books can do is cram up all that information.

    3. For some reason I'm starting to think as Dumbledore and James as gits, James because of the horrible things he's done to Snape, Dumbledore because of his past, so I'm happy and cried a little.

I was a little dissapointed with the ending. The problem is that the epilogue has given people oppurtunities(sp?) to write their own spinoffs, which I think will kill the series.

I think the last 2 movies will(obviously) be the longest, because there isn't alot they can take out.

I changed my mind about Snape after reading book 7. At the end of book 6 I hated him for what he done, but after reading book 7, I actually like him again.

I'll keep this short because I know people will just skim over it anyway.

    1. No, it didn't. It seems to me J.K. Rowling gave in to all the radical Christian groups screaming about witchcraft; you can draw definate Jesus parallels to Harry's "sacrificing himself then comes back to life. No one can be cursed by Voldemort because he gave his life freely for them."

    2. I was never a fan of the movies to begin with.

    3. I've always kind of liked Snape, myself. Then I knew we were going to get more backstory on him when all those "Severus Snape: Friend or Foe?" posters came out, because they would never have distributed those if they didn't want us to think that he's anything other than the obnoxious, greasy Potions master.

There. All done. I could have rambled longer, but I didn't. I'm not one of those "ZOMG HAPPY POTTER SHOULD DIE!" people; those who are, please chill out; he's a fictional character. Yes, I dislike the character Orochimaru for what he's doing to my Sasuke, but he's still an interesting character, so I can't go on any "ZOMG I HATE HIM WHAT A B*TCH!". Come on, people, chill. Seriously.

    (c) Random Idiot for the Jesus symbolism... thank you, Random.

I disliked the ending because it just seemed far too perfect. Considering all that happened across the series I thought there would have been more pain in the ending.

Movies never live up to the book, I've yet to see a movie that has. I also agree that they will have a very hard time making the movies considering the detail they would have to go into to convey the story properly (not that that has ever been at the top of producers lists >_>)

Snape IMO has had a very hard time as a character. I can see why he hated Harry but selling out Lily and James was just wrong. But from the way he tried to right the wrong afterwards shows he wasn't completely bad. But I don't think he completely redeemed himself. Ugh such a confusing character.........

What I didn't like was how little time they spent in Hogwarts, although I'm not sure why, I think it just took something out of the book.

Unlike a lot of people in here, I happen to be quite the Harry Potter fan. (No freakin' sh!t, sherlock.) I was shocked out of HELL when he died. I refused to read the rest of the book because of it, but got a good dose of inspiration from a friend, and finished it.

    1. Yes and no. I was expecing Voldemort to die, but not Harry in such a way. I actually spent a few hours in my room, crying my eyes out. Scared the sh!t out of my parents too. J.K Rowling has done it again.

    2. As BurnterX has stated, movies never live up to the books. Of course, the movies will have a TON of changes from the books...but I still think they'll be fairly good. I'm expecting the 7th movies to be more accurate though, as it's one of the most important ones.

    3. To begin with, I HATED Snape. Loathed him. That was even before the HBP. I never really knew why he hated Harry so much. But after this book, I've expierenced a change of heart. It was quite shocking to realize that Snape was SUPPOSED to kill Dumbledore and he was more of a spy than a Death Eater...so he's definatly gone up on my 'favorite character list'. I actually felt bad for him when he died.

For the most part, I think the book was a masterpiece. It kept me on the edge of my seat for more than half of the time. (especially around the fight at Hogwarts.) I was actually surprised I was crying my eyes out when Harry died. Never did that from a book before.

J.K Rowling has done it again.

Actually, the official time of my reading of HPDH was 8 and a half hours. Not too shabby, I'd say.

Me? Until the end of time- I haven't even read the second book because the first bored me and I'm so slow at reading XP. My sister on the other hand finished it in about two days (she finished the fifth like within 3 days or something)
