Denzel nodded his shaggy head. Suddenly the flames came back and engulfed a terrified Denzel.

 

Hermione dodged a attack from one beast, she took out the Blade of Wisdom and stabbed it through the heart.

Riku blocked a attack from hurting Denzel. He turned to face him and got eye level with him, handing a key chain with a wolf to him. "Take this, Denzel. Fight, to protect the ones you love."

 

Kairi watched Riku and Denzel and wasn't paying a attention and got jumped my one of the beasts.

 

Denzel howled and knocked the beast off of Kairi.He motioned for her to get on his back because he was bigger now.

 

Riku was fighting one of the beasts that attacked him. He was too busy with the one in front of him, that another came up behind him and attacked him. A scar across his back appeared. Riku couldn't move any part of his body.

"Riku!" Hermione shouted, killing one of her beasts.

 

Denzel, with Kairi on his back, came to the rescue. He barreled into one and bit and slashed the others. He gently picked Riku up in his fangs and put him on his back with Kairi.

 

"Thanks," Kairi said and hopped on. They ran throught the beasts while Shestarted attacking them. "RIKU!!!"

 

Hermione took out three beasts, and came face with Kadaj. "Brother...."

"Sister...." Kadaj said, pointing his Soba at her.

 

Denzel got slashed across the side and he howled. He bit the animal and once it was gone jumped into the battle again, but his wound was bleeding and he was getting slower and slower.

 

"huh? Kadaj?" Kairi said while on Denzel's back. "Denzel are you okay?"

 

ooc: um..Kairi and Riku are on Denzel's back

 

"Like my present, Onee-chan?" Kadaj asked.

"Not really...." Hermione rested the Buster Sword on her shoulder. "What do you want, nii-san?"

Denzel let Riku and Kairi off his back. He turned and saw Kadaj(sp?). He snarled and charged at him.

 

"DENZEL! DON'T!" But she let him go, "Riku are you okay?"

 

Riku looked up at Kairi. "Yeah, I'm fine...." He tried to sit up, but his back hurt.

Aerith ran out into the field. "Riku! Kairi!"

"Denzel! Stay back!" Hermione shouted.

 

"here. ." She placed her hand on his back and a white glow came out of it. "better?" she then looked at Aerith. "Hi. . you shouldn't be here. . "

 

Denzel was thrown backward and went skidding. When the dust cleared he lay motionless.

 

"I couldn't stand by and watch you get hurt," Aerith told her. "Hermione...."

"A lot better," Riku turned to Aerith. "Professor Gainsborough, you better go."

Hermione ran toward Denzel. "Denzel! Wake up!"

 

"please. .we don't want Cloud to be worried sick about you," Kairi said.
