Hermione ran to Harry's bed, and looked at him. "Harry.... It's me, Hermione....."

Harry looked at her, and smiled. "Hey.... You know, you and Cloud are alike in a way. When you lost someone dear to you, you got a deep wound. In your heart."

"What are you talking about?" Riku asked.

 

Kairi just stood there and just thought about what he said about how Hermoine is like Cloud.

 

Cloud entered the hospital wing and heard what Harry and Riku said. "He means we have the same wound in our hearts. When I lost someone dear, and when Hermione lost Harry to Kadaj." He walked up to Hermione.

"And the person dear to him was me," Aerith said, entering. "Remember when we talked, Kairi?"

 

"uhh.. .yes. ." Kairi said."You said Cloud has a deep wound from two years ago. Someone dear to him died, and he wants to be sure no one have the same wound," she said correctly

 

"Yes, what I meant by the deep wound was a feeling, a feeling that never left Cloud for two years. It seems I was wrong." Aerith turned to Cloud. "You should have moved along."

Cloud turned to her. "I couldn't get you out of my mind. I kept thinking it was my fault, you died. I could have done anything for you! I'm sure Riku would do the same thing for Kairi!"

Riku blushed a deep red, but Cloud was right. He would have done for Kairi.

"I kept thinking it was my fault, Harry joined Kadaj..... That wound in our heart, we can't feel it, but we know its there.""

 

"I don't think it was your fault. . you tried but the darkness got to him.. ." Kairi said and looked at Riku then blushed

 

"Professor Gainsborough, how are Cloud and I alike?" Hermione asked. "Is it because we thought it was our faults something happened to our loved ones?"

"More than that....." Aerith shook her head slightly. "You and Cloud share a feeling of guilt, when you were fighting Loz, I remembered seeing Cloud fight that way. When Harry was taken, you were a real leader."

"You're right, I thought Hermione won't last against Loz, but she actually weaken him. What did you think when you watched Hermione fought Loz?" Riku turned to Kairi, blushing slightly.

 

She saw Riku looking at her and she smiled. She went back on topic, "Hermoine I never knew you could be that strong of a fighter. . I also thought you wouldn't last against Loz but . . you were great. I think you can get him next time,"

 

"Neither did I. But I guessed there's more to me than meets the eye....."

Harry sat up and said, "I know more about you than you do." Hermione looked at Riku as though ask what is he talking about?

"Harry said he did some digging in your past and found out more things about you."

 

"mind telling us Harry?" Kairi said as she walked up to Riku and stood beside him.

 

"Beside of Kai being her first friend, Hermione was tough in her younger days, and her greatest dream was to be like a warrior she read about. Right?"

Hermione didn't said anything. He was right, she fought boys who bugged her and Kai when they were younger, and she wanted to be a like the great warrior she read about.

 

"I think her wish came true. ." Kairi said smiling and held on to Riku's hand.

 

"Yeah...." Riku turned to Hermione.

Hermione stepped back, but took the Buster Sword and ran toward Harry, who blocked her attack. "Guess Cloud was the warrior I read about, 'cause I'm like him...."

"Yes....." Harry stared at Hermione, and jumped away. Then he'd disappeared.

 

"so. . . what shall we do?" She asked.

 

Hermione sighed and turned Kairi. "Right now, we wait...." She put the Buster Sword away and walked toward Cloud.

Aerith turned to Kairi. "Kairi, come with me, please." She walked out of the room.

 

"Sure.. " She said and walked out of the room with Aerith

 

"Here, take this...." She pulled out a materia from one of her pockets in her jacket and put it in Kairi's hand. "It'll protect you from the Brothers' attacks. Here, your own cell phone." She placed a light pink cell phone in her other hand.

 

"They are coming. . aren't they?" Kairi said. "Thanks so much," She took the cell and put it in her pouch. . she held the Materia," Umm what do I do with it?"

 

"The White Materia can respond to this one, cause the angel had a friend. Someone like you. Since Hermione is like the angel with the White Materia, you're like the angel's friend with this materia." Aerith smiled at her young student.
