Riku rode back and he looked at Axel and Reno. "What are you two doing?" he asked. A masked figure appeared behind him and Kairi. "Who are you? That robe... Organization XIII?!" But the figure grabbed Kairi's arm.

"hey! let go!" Kairi say struggling to get free

 

"I'm giving you til three to let go," Riku said, taking out Way to the Dawn.

The figure removed the mask to reveal the face of a girl around sixteen with short blond hair. "I'm looking for a girl named Hermione Granger," she said. "Have you seen her?" She slowly let go of Kairi."

 

"who wants to know?" Kairi said running back to Riku.

 

"I do," the girl said. She went into her right pocket and took out what looked like a key chain. At the end was a necklace of sea shell. "I had this for long as I remember. And something echo in my head, 'Hermione Granger....' I believe this Hermione Granger gave it to me. That's why I'm trying to find her. My name is Kai."

"That keychain is the reason you're trying to find Hermione?" Riku asked.

 

"hi, Kai, What do you need her for?" She asked

 

"Look, I think that Hermione and I were friends when we were young, one day Hermione was very sick, there was nothing I could do, so I visited her and she gave me this," Kai said, lifting the keychain.

"That sounds like the story Hermione said on the chooper," Aerith said, walking up. "Kai, did the doctor said the only way to save her was to infuse her with different cells?"

 

Kairi just looked at Aerith and watched her talk.

 

"Yes, and they infused her with cell called Jenova cells, she got better so quickly," Kai said. "I was so worried about her, than I made her a gift. That's all I remember."

"Kai, what's do you remember here?" Aerith asked.

"And why are you wearing a Organization XIII robe?" Riku asked, pointing at her outfit.

 

"Yeah, i would like to know that," Kairi said.

 

"Oh, this?" Kai looked at the robe. "I found it. Fits comfortablely."

"Okay...." Riku said. Suddenly, the keychain in Kai's hand turned into a keyblade, the Star of Friendship.

 

"we've got alot of keyblade wielders," Kairi said. "do you think they are still after the power of my heart?"

 

"What?" Kai said. "Hey, you. What are you talking about?" They heard a gasp. Standing a few feet away was Hermione, tears streaming down her face and a smile on her face.

"Kai!" she shouted. Hermione ran to Kai, and hugged her. "I thought I never see you again!"

 

Kairi turned around and saw Hermoine and she sighed in relief.

 

"Kai, where did you go?!" Hermione asked.

"What are you talking about?" Kai said. "I believe this is the first time we met."

 

"I'm lost," Kairi said to Riku

 

"All I can remember is someone giving me this," Kai said, showing the chain. "Hey, you, what were you talking about earlier?"

"Hermione, what's wrong?" Riku asked.

"She forgot our promise," Hermione whispered to herself. "She forgot everything."

 

"talking to me?" Kairi said pointing to herself

 

"Yeah, you," Kai said. "What's this about the power of your heart?"
