Tifa looked down to the floor, "So you DID forget. Remember.... Cloud. It was seven years ago..."

~

Serenity looked at him and smiled.

 

Cloud looks up. The scene fades to black. It fades in again; Cloud and
Tifa are standing by a well. The sky is full of stars.

~

Marlene looked up at Layla and smiled, taking the flower before hiding behind Barrett's leg.
"...Thank you." she murmured shyly.

~

"So, what do you want to do mi'lady?" I am in your service for today." Lent said putting on a fake voice and bowing, acting like a gentlemen.

 

"Look, the well. Do you remember?" Tifa said.

~

Serenity smiled and bowed back. "Show around the building, good sir."

 

Layla looked at the little girl and smiled again.
"No problem," she said.

 

Cloud nods.

"Yeah.... back then. I thought you would never come, and I was getting a little
cold."


The scene changes. Cloud and Tifa, as children, appear. Cloud is sitting swinging his legs on the well cover. Tifa enters from offscreen.

Lent held out an arm for her to take, like he would be escorting her.
"It would be my honour."

 

Young Tifa appeared, "Sorry I'm late." She sat down.

Serenity smiled and took his arm.

 

Young Cloud nodded at her.

~

"Right... well then. First-"
and so... the guided tour began. Lent didn't know too much about the rest of the building, but he did show her the SOLDIER floors and the Materia research department, everything he could think of.
~

Silver held out her hand, and summoned Silver fire in her palm... she examined it, like Lent had earlier in Serentiy's room. Before she extinguished it and headed inside.
She noticed Lent giving Serenity a tour, and she stayed behind a wall, so as not to be seen.
The two seemed to be enjoying themselves, and she decided it was best to not disturb them.

 

"You said you wanted to talk to me about something?" Young Tifa asked.

Serenity smiled and walked with Lent. She looked around and some of the scientists showed her the process of making materia, giving her some new ones.

 

Young Cloud nodded again. "Come this spring.... I'm leaving this town for Midgar."

~

"Well, that concludes the tour...
To be honest, I don't know much else of the building haha..."

 

"........All boys are leaving our town." Young Tifa said.

~

Serenity smiled, "Here's your award." She kissed his cheek.

 

Young Cloud piped up, "But I'm different from all of them. I'm not just going to find a
job."

He stands.

"I want to join SOLDIER.
I'm going to be the best there is, just like Sephiroth."

~

Lent blushed, he turned quickly and scratched the back of his head. "Um.. thanks.
I uh..." he coughed.
"I had fun." he grinned at her, still blushing slightly.

 

"Sephiroth.... The Great Sephiroth." Young Tifa said, realizing the name.

~

Serenity smiled and nodded.

 

Young Cloud climbs to the top of the well and looks at the stars.

~

"So... anything else you wanna do?" Lent asked, still a little blushy, but not as much as before.

 

"Isn't it hard to join SOLDIER?" Young Tifa asked.

~

Serenity smiled. "No, I'm good." She had to deliver her latest letter to Rufus and sighed.

 

"...I probably wont be able to come back to this town for a
while."

~

Lent looked at her noticing her sigh.
"Everything okay?"

~

 

"I'm fine. Just thinking how nice you are."

~

Young Tifa made a motion.

 

Young Cloud noticed and questioned her. "...huh?"

~

"Oh?
...well uh... I'm just being me really." he said resting his arms behind his head.
"You're uh... pretty awesome yourself."

 

"Will you be in the newspapers if you do well?" Young Tifa asked.

~

Serenity smiled and blushed.

 

Layla decided to wait until the meeting started and sat down in a chair and took her notebook out of her backpack. She opened her book and looked around the room for something interesting to draw. Her eyes lead her to Ron.
"Hey Ron, What's your Story, anway. I mean why did you join AVALANCHE anyway?" she asked.

 

Leonhardt breathed a sigh as the simulation or training room was calling him back and he noticed Lent and Serenity but he continued back in, throwing an empty plastic cup behind himm a sit landed in the bin without so much a glance and he entered the room as the scenery within it changed and soon, begun to fight again.
