Harry Potter and the Planet ~ Harry Potter/Final Fantasy VII

Serenity began to write a letter to Rufus, and sighed. She looked out her window and picked up a Libra materia, holding it close. Luna was in her own room, swinging her sword.

 

Tifa looked at him and asked, "Cloud, are you alright?"

 

Cloud looked at his childhood friend, a bit puzzled.
"...yeah... Why?"

Lent headed up to the designated floor that he was told about earlier.
The Mayor's floor.

Silver went all the way up to the roof of the Shinra building.
She looked out over the glowing city of Midgar, at the reactor that was still barely on fire from the earlier explosion.
She felt the strong winds around her blowing in her white hair.

 

"No reason. You just look a little tired I guess. You'd better go down below." Tifa said, starting to clean a glass.

Serenity sighed and sat at her desk, staring at her materia.

 

Cloud walks to the elevator in the pinball machine and goes down.
Everyone is busy downstairs. Barret is punching a bag.

Lent walked through the hallway...
Well... I'm here... but which door is it?"

 

Serenity thought she heard footsteps outside her door, and slightly opened it. "Hello, is anyone here?"

 

Jessie stared at the tv in awe.
"Oops...
Hey, look at the news... What a blast.
Think it was all because of my bomb? But all I really did was just make it like the computer told me.
Oh no! I must've made a miscalculation somewhere."

Before Cloud could answer, he got called over by Barrett.
"Yo. Cloud! There's somethin' I wanna ask ya.
Was there anyone from SOLDIER fighting us today?"

Cloud thought for a second. "None. I'm positive."

"You sound pretty sure."

"If there was anyone from SOLDIER you wouldn't be standing here now."

"Don't go thinkin' you so bad jes cuz you was in SOLDIER."

Cloud stayed silent.

"Yeah, you're strong. Probably all them guys in SOLDIER are. But don't forget your skinny ass's working for AVALANCHE now!
Don't get no ideas 'bout hangin' on to Shinra."

"Stayin' with Shinra?
You asked me a question and I answered it... that's all.
I'm going upstairs. I want to talk about my money."


"Shucks!! ........money...."

Marlene not realising her fathers sudden depression shouted out.
"Papa. you're so great!"

Lent turned to hear where the voice came from.
"Uh... yeah.
Um, Hiya.."

 

"Wait, Cloud!" Tifa shouted, coming down the hidden elevator.

Serenity was surprised, "Lent, hello!"

 

"Leave him Tifa, Everyone's got their own business." Kaze stated with arms crossed.

~

Leonhardt breathed a sigh as he went for a plastic cup of water, Shinra never had First Classes go outside of Midgar nowadays, it was somewhat frustating and annoying at the same time. "I need a new job..." he muttered to himself quietly under his breath, the pay was good but back home, there was no-one to call family since they were gone, if one could say, he was getting money for his descendents should they be born, but Leonhardt never really considered marriage or an interest in women since he was on the battlefield almost everyday, besides there wasn't many strong female SOLIDERS apart from Silver, not that Leonhardt was disrespecting the force of women, only female he probably worked with a few times was Cissnei since the Turks are a force to be reckoned with.

 

Harry sighed, leaning against the wall of the back room. Before heading to the meeting room, Tifa did stop by and said he could step into the bar when there were no costumers. He stepped out of the back room and didn't see anyone. He went behind the bar and made himself a drink.

Tifa sighed and looked at Cloud.

Serenity smiled and hugged him. "Sorry if you're in trouble with Silver."

 

"Yeah, Tifa! Let him go! Looks like he still misses the Shinra!" Barrett shouted.

"Shut up!
I don't care about either Shinra or SOLDIER!
But don't get me wrong! I don't care about AVALANCHE or the Planet for that matter!" Cloud shouted back before heading up the pinball elevator.

Lent was slightly taken aback by Serenity's hug, but by no means was he gonna complain.
"No worries, I'll just make up for it with extra training sessions tomorrow." he grinned.

 

Harry saw Cloud come up the pinball machine and went back into the back room, he sighed as he watched Tifa follow him, "Listen, Cloud. I'm asking you. Please join us."

Serenity smiled. "So, you wanna do?"

 

Cloud looked back at Tifa, it was hard to say no to her, but...
"Sorry Tifa..."

Lent looked around...
"Uh... I dunno.."
he noticed a Materia on Serenity's desk. "You're... interested in Materia?" he asked to try and make conversation.

 

"The Planet is dying. Slowly but surely it's dying. Someone has to do something." Tifa said, sadly. Harry didn't want to eavesdrop, but he wanted to hear what they were saying.

"A old friend of mine gave some." Serenity smiled. "Materia is so interesting. I think so, at least."

 

"So let Barret and his buddies do something about it.
It's got nothin' to do with me."

He moves to leave.

"I agree. Powers forged from the life-stream itself.
As members of SOLDIER we rely heavily on Materia... although..."
He held out the palm of his hand and summoned black flames, just holding them... examining them almost.
"It's weird... both me and Silver can use fire based abilities without Materia... further more... our fire is... different." he commented, before extinguishing the flames in his hand..

 

"So! You're really leaving!? You're just going to walk right out ignoring your childhood friend!?" Tifa shouted, watching him leave.

Serenity watched him and smiled. "That's amazing. You and Silver must be pretty special!"

 

Cloud turned quickly to look at Tifa.
"What......?" ... he looked down at the floor, unable to meet her gaze. "...Sorry."

"Who knows?" he said shrugging.
"Personally, I think you're more amazing." he realised how what he had just said must have sounded.
"I mean... well... you do so much right? You have all those hobbies you mentioned before and everything. he said, holding his hands up in front of him.

 

"You forgot the promise, too." Tifa said, softly.

~

"Yeah, but everyone just knows me as the mayor's daughter. A important figure." Serenity sighed and picked up the materia.

 

"That Cloud... Something seems different about him..." Layla mumbled to herself as she saw him go back to the bar.
Layla then realzied that she hadn't given Marlene the flower that she had brought. She opened her bag, pulled out the flower and handed it to Marlene.
"Here ya go," smiled Layla.
((I just wanted to post something to let you guys know I'm still alive xD))

 

Cloud looked at Tifa questioningly.
"Promise?"

Lent sighed too, he walked up to her and put a hand on hers. He looked her in the eyes and smiled.
"I just see a cute girl called Serenity standing right here in front of me." he told her.
I know what it's like to be seen for what you are, but not who you are.
