Cloud looked at Tifa before answering. "Not this time..."

"So... any ideas? You're the one who should get to choose."

 

Serenity looked around, having never been in the city before, she didn't know to where to go. She sighed and walked around.

Marlene shyly followed Tifa to Cloud, and hid behind her legs, waiting for her papa.

~

Harry leaned against the wall, and sighed. He wondered what kept Tifa so long and began to fall asleep.

 

"Figured as much." Kaze shrugged, it looked like everyone was going to the meeting room and Tifa had not spomn a word about their new arrival in the back, but he'd leave that to her.

"So lemme guess, it was a sucessful mission with a satisfying explosion?" Kaze asked.

Leonhardt was soon bakc at HQ and passed through the front gate as he enetered an elevator, ascending the floors, all he could do now was wait for someone to question about Harry's whereabouts, more likely, Hojo's he'd have to imagined but he had an idea, he wasn't all brawn and no brains, but what Hojo's mindset madde him that way was something even 'Golden Leo' did not wish to comprehend or wrap around.

He entered the SOLDIER floor and headed to grab a cup of water from oen of the containers that was in the hallway. "He'll be fine, that bartender wasn't all innocent to begin with, he's in safe hands, I never got her name though, perhaps if we meet again, I shall ask for it." he thought and sipped some water before notcing someone apporach him and he turned his head at the person. "What a surprise, I thought you were on a mission, Cissnei." he said. the Turks never notably reveal themselves much to SOLDIER and their existence known only to a few, perhaps only First Classes if you got the chance to work with them.

 

Tifa gave a relieved sigh. "Hmm. You've grown up...when you were little you used to get into fights at the drop of a hat."

 

Harry stayed to awake and decided to find a weapon to defend himself since he somehow lost his wand. But he was in a back room of a bar and sighed, waiting for Tifa.

As Serenity looked around for a place for her and Lent to eat, she wondered how Harry was doing. Ever since they met, Harry had been a older brother to her, though she already had one. The legitimate son of President Shinra, Rufus, was also her half-brother, but the two of them only talked to each other through letters.

 

Tifa glanced at the flower in Cloud's hand.
"Flowers? How nice...you almost never see them here in the slums," she said, wondering where he could have possibly found one.

 

"...It's no big." Cloud muttered. He looked at Tifa for a second and saw the somewhat hopeful expression on her face.
He held the flower out to her. "...Here."

Lent looked at Serenity who seemed deep in thought.
"Something on your mind?" he asked her.

 

Serenity looked at him and smiled, "It's nothing, just thinking about how big the real world is."

 

Leonhardt nodded as Cissnei left after their small conversation, she was a strong young girl. "...Well now, how am I gonna report this?" he asked himself, rubbing his hair as he walked to the where Hojo's lab was, he didn't want to go in that place but he did say he'd 'bring' Harry and woudl want to know his whereabouts.

 

"Heh... well, the world is much bigger than this... sure... we have Midgar, but there is more out there, a whole lot more." he said as he looked out at the sky.
"Do you wanna see it?" he grinned at her.

Silver walked through the Shinra building hallways.
Lent hadn't been where she had left him... "...Slacker.." she muttered.
She bumped into Luna in the hallway, she gave her a nod of acknowledgement.

 

Serenity smiled and nodded.

Luna nodded back at her. She respected Silver more than the other Soldiers.

 

Lent gave her a thumbs up and then pointed the thumb to himself. "Then leave it to me, I'll show you the world one day! I don't ever go back on my word!
I swear it on my honour as Soldier." he told her.
He already was in love with that sweet smile of hers, so... he decided that he from here on, wanted to make her smile more.
He extended a pinky finger. "So, we'll go together?" he asked her.


OOC: God... pinky swears take me back to my childhood... :P

 

Tifa's eyes widened slightly. "A flower for me? Oh Cloud, you shouldn't have..."
She smiled and continued, "Thank you, Cloud. It smells wonderful. Maybe I should fill the store with flowers."

 

Serenity smiled and wrapped her pinky finger around his.

 

Wedge came racing up to Cloud suddenly.
"Oh. Cloud!
Tifa realls knows how to cook. Mmm, mmm....... Anyway, let me tell you somethin'."

Cloud looked at him before responding with. "...I'm not interested in your stories."

Wedge looked a little hurt.. "Cloud...... ........forget it."

Jessie piped up from the other side of the room. "Careless..... You're getting all excited. Wonder what for.....?"

Biggs meanwhile was busy drinking. "Aah!! Nothin' like that first drink after a job.
Hic!! Why don't you have one too?" he asked Cloud.

"No."

"What!? you tellin' me you're too good to drink with me?"
Don't act big-headed jus' because you were in SOLDIER!"

"You're quiet aren't you?" he asked her, almost rhetorically.
"That's alright though." he smiled at her, "It's cute."

 

Serenity blushed and smiled.

Harry peeked out of the door of the back room to look the crowd that was now in the bar. He sighed and leaned against the wall of the back room.

 

Cloud tries to exit, but Barret crashes into the bar.

Marlene went running up to him with extreme energy and happiness. "Papa, welcome home!"

Barret lifts her up on his shoulder with a little chuckle.

Lent also blushed at Serenity's blushing. It was so cute.
He quickly looked at the sky to hide his face.
"Uh... so... you um decided on some place yet?" he asked a little awkwardly.

 

"No, there are so many great places." Serenity smiled and looked at all the places there was.

Harry looked out and stared at Barret, smiling. 'I never would have known........' he thought to himself. He continued to watch from the back room, trying to stay out of sight.

 

Tifa glanced at Barret. "You all right, Barret?" she asked.

 

Barrett grinned at Tifa. "Great!! Get in here, fools!! We're startin' the meetin'!!
That means you too Weasel!"

"Weasley!" Ron shouted running in to the bar. He'd been charged with keeping watch outside until they were ready to start the meeting.

Barrett descends down a hidden elevator in a pinball machine. Everyone follows but
Cloud and Tifa. Cloud walks to the bar.

"Well, I got all night." Lent told her.
Well... he had all night, unless Silver decided she was going to find him and kill him now rather than later.
