"Lent, I want you to stay with Serenity. Protect her no matter what." Silver told him.

"I can do that sure... but what about you. I mean, as a First, wouldn't you be better?"

"You'll be fine... I'm sure you'll be able to give more and be at a first's level with her around.
Besides... I need to see the President. Find out my orders and how we respond to this.
Also... he'll know that Potter is coming and that Serenity is willing to leave with him." She looked at the two, before giving Lent a nod and walking off.

"I see..." Lent whispered to Serenity.
"If the president trusts Silver, and therefore me... and I'm with you. At least it looks like Harry won't be able to do anything about you."
he said as he watched Silvers back as she walked away.

... He'll probably send me after Leonhardt. Too many SOLDIER First's have betrayed Shinra after all...
That, and I'm the only first class seemingly left in the organisation now...

 

Serenity watched Silver leave and smiled at Lent. She sat down, and sighed.

Aerith entered her church and gasped at the man who was lying on the flower bed.

OOC: Gotta go. Be back tomorrow. Wish me luck.

 

...You all right?
...Can you hear me?

".....Yeah....."

Back then... You could get by with just skinned knees.....


"What do you mean by 'back then'?"

What about now? Can you get up?


".....What do you mean by 'that time'? .....What about now?"


Don't worry about me. You just worry about yourself now.


".....I'll give it a try."

"Oh! He moved!" he heard a voice say.

.....How about that?
Take it slow now. Little by little.....

"Hello, hello?"


".....I know."


"Hey... who are you?"

"Hello, hello!"

Cloud slowly woke, lying in the middle of a flower patch
in the floor of an old church. The Flower Girl from Midgar kneeling next to
him. She stood and Cloud managed to sit up.

 

"You okay? This is a church in the Sector 5 slums. You suddenly fell on top of me. You really gave me quite a scare." She said, smiling at him.

 

OOC: I'm so sorry I missed alot... Layla would have been fighting that monster but I feel asleep as soon as i got home from the eye doctor... I'm really sorry
BIC: Layla fight the monster and ran with the others. "Do you think They'll be alright?" she wondered.

 

"They'll be alright, Layla." Harry said calmly, untying the bandage on his arm. It was slightly bleeding, Harry said, "I must have reopened the wound." Tifa smiled, she had a Restore materia equipped from the first mission and placed her hand over the wound. A soft light appeared, then disappeared, only a scar remained on his arm. "Keep the bandage on your arm, gives you a tough look."

 

"......I came crashing down?" Cloud groggily rubbed the back of his head.

"Um... Harry.. I uh... well..." Ron scratched the back of his head, ruffling through his ginger hair as he addressed Harry in concern.
He wanted to try and apologise but... he found it hard to get the words out.
He was also concerned with what he saw with Harry's eyes.

 

"The roof and the flower bed must have broken your fall. You're lucky." She told him.

Harry tied the bandage back on his arm and looked at Ron, smiling. "Yeah, Ron? Hermione would tell you to speak clearly."

 

"Flower bed... is this yours?"
He stood up and brushed his clothes off.
"Sorry about that."

"I know! ...um... uh...
...Sorry.." he mumbled..

 

"That's all right. The flowers here are quite resilient because this is a sacred place. They say you can't grow grass and flowers in Midgar. But for some reason, the flowers have no trouble blooming here. I love it here." She smiled, she began to tend to her flowers. ".....So, we meet again. Don't you remember me?"

"It's okay, Ron. I forgive you." Harry said.

 

"Yeah, I remember you, You were selling flowers.." Cloud said as he recognised the pretty girl from the slums, he'd bought the flower he gave to Tifa from her.

"Uh... cheers..." he paused.
"Harry? Did... they really experiment on you? ,,,The Shinra I mean?" He thought back and now in fact remembered that was why he was being chased by the Turks back then.

 

"I hope you're right, Harry" said Layla,before Ron had started to speak.
She looked around the room and sighed.
"So what the hell should we do now," she said to one in particular.

 

"Oh, I"m so happy! Thanks for buying my flowers. Say, do you have any materia?" She asked.

Harry nodded, trying not to think back on it. "Yeah, they really did experiment on me. The worst had to be the head scientist of the Science Research Division, Hojo. He thought of everything as a test subject." Now Harry thought about it, there was a creature next to his cell that he talked with when Serenity wasn't around, and the only other thing in the room with him.

 

"Yes, some. Nowadays you can find materia anywhere." Cloud answered.

Ron clenched his fist as he heard Hojo's name.
"It's just... never mind."
He wished so badly that Hermione was here... she'd know something about when Harry's eyes changed Neon.

 

"But mine is special. It's good for absolutely nothing." She said, smiling.

Harry rubbed his hair and sighed. He wondered where in this world would Hermione and Sirius be. 'I wonder if Serenity is waiting for me........... Hopefully, she's with a strong SOLDIER.' Harry thought to himself.

Hermione held herself and looked out at the horizon. She wondered where her friends were, and hoped they were alright. Cosmo Canyon had become her home in a way, and she wanted Harry and Ron to be with her. She sighed and smiled.

 

Cloud scratched his head in response to the girls statement. ".....good for nothing? You probably just don't know how to use it."

"Harry... I'm worried about Hermione... I mean, it's all well and good blowing up reactor's with AVALANCHE... but will we really find her like this?
I mean, she might not even be in Midgar.
Or Sirius too for that matter..."

Lent sneezed... Huh? Someone's talking or thinking about me... maybe..
He looked at Serenity. "Hey, just sitting here probably won't do you any good at all, is there anything you wanna do while you wait for uh... Harry was it?"

 

"No, I do... it just doesn't do anything. I feel safe just having it. It was my mother's...." She looked skyward. "Say, I feel like talking. Do you feel up to it? After all, here we are meeting again, right?"

"As much as I do agree, Ron, we don't know what this world is like. It's not like we can make a portkey to wherever they were." Harry told him.

Luna came up and smiled. Serenity smiled and sighed. "What were you going to do, Lent?"

 

"Hey Ron. Harry. I told you guys that I wanted to help you find your friend and your God -father... I still stand by what I said to Ron. I still want to help..."
" So... If you guys do decide to leave... Just don't go without me? OK?" said Layla. She felt bad for butting into their conversation but she wanted to let them not that she was still there and happy to help.
OC: I'm going to dinner then the Anime club at my libary so I'll be back later.

 

OOC: I wish my Uni had an anime club or something... *sighs*

BIC:

"I don't mind." Cloud told her.. just somehow... he found that he couldn't refuse.

"I know... it's just... I wish I could do something..
Ron nodded to Layla. "Cheers, appreciate it." he said, perhaps a little glumly.

"Huh? Me...
Well, I got busted for yesterday, so... today was meant to be a full day of training... at least until..." he looked out the window at the exploded reactor.

 

"Wait here. I've got to check my flowers. It'll be just a minute." She checked her flowers. "Just a little longer. Oh! Now that you mention it..... We don't know each other's names, do we? My name is.... I'm Aerith, the flower girl. Nice to meet you."

Harry looked at Layla and smiled, nodding.

Serenity looked out the window and looked at Lent, smiling.
