Harry Potter and the Planet ~ Harry Potter/Final Fantasy VII

Story - June 18th, 1996. Harry Potter, known to the Wizarding World as the boy-who-lived, tragically witnessed the death of his godfather, Sirius Black, killed by his cousin, Bellatrix, in front of the Veil, a barrier shrouded in mystery. Within the Ministry of Magic, there is a secret about the Veil, it is said that those who don't commit a crime fall through the Veil, they are transported to an alternate reality, which is very different from their own.

Harry, having discovered this secret and believing Sirius is still alive somewhere, had decided to travel through the Veil and find his godfather. Concerned about him, his friends, Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger, follow him through the Veil, separating upon entrance. Their destinities, along with Sirius's, are about to come intertwined with those found in this alternate reality.

Will the trio be able to reunite with each other? Will Harry find Sirius and choose to live in this new world? That's what we will find out.

Bio: Joined the Shinra forces at a young age and quickly became a member of Soldier and rose to First Class, becoming one of the youngest to do so.
Known to be cold, quiet and calculating, but not much else is known about her. She does however have a soft spot for sweet things and does sometimes show a Tsundere side.
She is known simply as 'Silver' because the moves she tends to use often are of the fire variety, however... her flames are silver in colour. No one has any idea of her past or where she came from, all they know is there is something strange about her.
She has recently been put in charge of training up a high potential Second Class Soldier called Lent Mitsuri.
Limit Break: Silver Nova - Summons huge multiple rings of silver fire and causes them to wrap around her opponent, binding them in place. She charges forwards and delivers a single slash empowered by channelling her silver fire into the blade, which then causes the fire around her opponent to explode. She makes the move look professional and graceful and she rarely uses the move, but every time she has. It's never failed to defeat an opponent.
Occupation: Soldier; First Class.
Weapon: A personally crafted Katana called: 'Anomoli'.

Bio: A young teen from the Midgar Slums who was scouted and signed up for the Soldier Programme.
He has shown some astonishingly quick progress and has risen to Soldier; Second Class.
He uses moves of the fire variety, however... his flames are Black in colour.
Because of this strange turn of events and his amazing potential, he has been assigned to train under 'Silver' who is much like him in terms of potential and 'unique... skills.'
He is a bit more laid back than his new instructor and takes things at his own pace, be warned though... he can be hot-headed and also get pissed off rather easily. He also doesn't know when he should back down. He doesn't really know or care why his flames are a different colour, just like Silvers.
Limit Break: Black Nova Blitz - Modelled after Silver's signature move with a few personal edits. Instead of surrounding his opponent in rings of fire, Lent releases multiple slashes of black fire towards his opponent coating them in a wave of black flames. He then charges forwards delivering multiple slashes empowered by channelling his black flames into the blade(s). He then quickly backs away and clicks his fingers causing the fire around his opponent to create a huge explosion.
It's not as graceful as Silver's, but it is a more Brutal Variation of her attack.
Occupation: Soldier; Second Class.
Weapon: 'Zemetsuguri'. A Merge Blade - (Two average size swords that can be merged together to make one big blade, roughly the size of the Buster Sword once merged.)

Due to the fact she is usually seen as cold and heartless, the boy, as well as anyone else, tend to avoid her angry side.

Bio: Basically a Drifter who travels from place to place to gather infomation about treasures or infomation to something he's interested in, he came to Midgar but after he stepped through the doors, the gates shut indefintely, making him stuck within it's walls so he rented a room within Sector 7 until Barret invited him to save the Planet and Kaze took the job for two reasons, one, he would get paid to stay longer and second, it gave him something to do.
Limit Break: Great Breakthrough ~ Focuses the power of his Aero Materia, one of a kind into the sword to send blades of pressurized wind at his opoonents, he also can gather the force of wind into his sword to augment his swings.

Bio: A son of a famous genereal from another country as he became SOLIDER First Class with but a few weeks and was given a nickname, 'the Golden Leo' as he's most notably known for his gold blade and mastery of his swordsmanship, he isn't heartless however, if he sees someone in trouble, be it enemy or ally, he will not hesitate to aid those in need, even if he was branded a traitor, currently he works under Shinra within Headquarters.Limit Break: Sonic Blast ~ Swings his sword which unleashes a square blast upon his foes.

Bio: Had lived in Midgar all her life and when Tifa first came to Midgar they become friends. When Layla told Tifa how she couldn’t stand how Shinra was treating the Planet and Tifa told her about AVALANCHE. Layla didn’t haste to join and became good friends with Jesse. Was late for the mission with Cloud in the others because she totally forgot about it.

Bio: A young girl with a slightly questionable past, who now works as a freelance mercenary or bounty hunter to those that can afford to hire her.
While her heart is definitely in the right place, her mental stability is questionable, and she will often act purely on impulse. One reason she is
well respected is due to her extensive knowledge of weapons, both melee and ranged, but falls short when it comes to magic. Her family is a touchy
subject for her, as she lost her mother in an accident years ago, and hates her father with a passion. She also has an older sister, with whom she
is on good terms with, even if she can't contact her as much as she'd like. Is also addicted to cake, which seems to have a similar affect on her
as alcohol would for others.
Limit Break: Valhalla - Puts away her weapon and summons many small, glowing orbs, which are then thrown and explode upon impact with their target. She does this three times,
before concentrating the same power into a single, focused beam and again directing that energy at the enemy.
Occupation: Originally trained as a weapons instructor, now a freelance mercenary.
Weapon: Combat staff/Anything she can find.

A beautiful young woman looks directly into the distance. Green embers waft upwards around her face. The camera moves to show
that the embers are generated by a Mako furnace in a dark alley as the
woman stares into it. After a few moments, she turns and leaves the alley,
a basket of flowers on one arm, and stops to stand at a street corner.
Our view of her is momentarily obstructed by a massive train as it
speeds past through the town square. The camera swings outward through
the dark, dingy square, under a stone arch, and then begins to swing
upwards. The view moves higher and higher until the entire circular city
of Midgar comes into view.
The camera begins to swing back down, into a different part
of a city. A train is pulling into a station in another dark alley. Two
guards patrol the platform. Jessie flips spectacularly off the train. The
guards attack the intruder only to be knocked out by her skillful hands
and feet. A teenage red headed man follows close behind, carrying a small stick of wood in one hand.
Barret hops out of the train, turns, and motions for another
to follow.)

"C'mon newcomer. Follow me." Barret said, looking back into the train.

He runs upstairs. Cloud flips out of the train and follows
him. Two guards come down the stairs down to the train
platform, blocking his path.
Cloud pulls the giant Buster Sword from his back and easily takes down the two guards.
After the battle, Cloud runs up the stairs and meets the
group - Jessie, Biggs, and Wedge, opening the main gate
to a Mako reactor.


OOC: Normally I won't be Barrett, but obviously, I needed him for that line in the opening there.

 

"Wow! You used to be in SOLDIER all right! ...Not everyday ya find one in a group like AVALANCHE." Biggs said, looking at him. Jessie shouted at them, "SOLDIER? Aren't they the enemy? What's he doing with us in AVALANCHE?" "Hold it, Jessie. He WAS in SOLDIER. He quit them and now is one of us. Didn't catch your name..." Biggs looked at Cloud, hoping he would introduce himself.

 

The young blond haired man stayed silent for a moment, before finally responding a quiet voice.
"...Cloud."

 

"Cloud, eh? I'm..." Biggs was going to introduce himself, but was stopped by Cloud's voice.

 

"I don't care what your names are. Once this job's over... I'm outta here."

Barret comes running up to the others.
"The hell you all doin'!? I thought I told you never to move in a
group!
Our target's the North Mako Reactor. We'll meet on the bridge
in front of it."

The group heads through the gate. Barret stops and turns to face Cloud.

"Ex-SOLDIER, huh? Don't trust ya!"

The camera swings to show the Shinra headquarters towering above as Cloud following Barret through the gate. Cloud follows the others to the Reactor. Wedge stays on the bridge in front of the reactor as the others head inside.

 

Before Cloud left, Wedge said to him, "I'll secure the escape passage. Concentrate on the mission, Cloud. Geez, we're really gonna blow this huge furnace up? This'll be somethin' to see!"

 

Cloud follows the others into the Reactor.

"Yo! This your first time in a reactor?" Barrett asked the Ex-Soldier.

"No. After all, I did work for Shinra, y'know."

"The planet's full of Mako energy. People here use it every day.
It's the life blood of the planet. But Shinra keeps suckin' the blood out with these machines."

"I'm not here for a lecture. Let's just hurry."

"That's it! You're comin' with me from now on."

Barret joins Cloud. The group works through the locked doors deeper inside the reactor.

 

"Biggs and I got the code for this door." Jessie said, Biggs smiled as the door opened, "Code deciphered" The door was open, allowing the group to enter. They went through the door, Biggs "Think how many of our people risked their lives, just for this code..." "Code deciphered" Jessie and the group went deeper into the reactor, Biggs stayed at the door while the group entered a elevator, Jessie told Cloud, "Push that button over there!"

 

Cloud pressed the button and the elevator starts moving.

"Little by little the reactors'll drain out all the life. And that'll be that."

"It's not my problem." Cloud said detachedly.

"The planet's dyin', Cloud!" Barrett shouted, pumping a fist.

Cloud pretty much blanked him. "The only thing I care about is finishin' this job before security and the Roboguards come."

Barret turns away, shaking with anger, then looks back over his shoulder at Cloud and rejoins him. The elevator stops and Jessie gets off. They continue into the reactor.
