i found the mushrooms to be very annoying. i found some of them more of a challenge than Terra actually.

    Terra.
Why: The battle was unique. You needed a strategy, not just button mashing, and while being one of the hardest to me, it was one of the funnest to me.

Terra and the Cavern of Remembrance gave me a lot of trouble, but, of course I like to go through the game at a low level using the EXP 0 ability. But, while coursing through the game, the Absent Silhouette battles are quite tough, I don't suggest fighting Zexion when you first are able to fight him. Typically, you will be around level 14-18 when he becomes available to fight in the Underworld. At least for me anyways.

    Hardest: Terra
    Harder: Data Rematches
    Hard: Absent Silhouettes
    Normal: Cavern of Remembrance

Roxas. His crazy attacks were almost impossible to beat, since it seemed like, in my frustration, he anticipated all my attacks and countered. Organization data.

    Have you beat him yet?
He really isn't all that hard to beat, once you learn his move set.

Personally, I find him slow. <~<

Me too,but you don't need speed when you can counter out of nowhere with a ramdom attack.
Then again, some do have both, speed and un-predictable counters*Remembers about Larxene Thunder counter when she's alone, chained by endless Thunder magics*
