the movie i really want to see is Handcock i look good with a lot of action and i love action so if anyone see it tell me if its worth the trip to see it or not.

 

Hey Tofu, do me a big favor and fix the spelling on the movie title. It's Hancock, not Handcock. I don't mean to be rude, but I'm sure I'm not the only one who choked on their drink upon seeing "Handcock" XD

I'm going to see it this weekend with my sisters. Can't promise I'll be able to come back and let you know how it is, but I hear it's supposed to be really good.

IMO, this looks kind of bad. Just an excuse to try and make the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air cool.

I don't know. Superhero movies don't really entertain me in the first place, and I dislike Will Smith. They all seem the same to me; guy has superpowers. guy saves city. guy has inner struggle. guy gets over it and defeats the baddie. (or dies) the end. maybe some make out scenes.

Okay, I'll agree with you on the redundancy of superhero movies. It's actually quite true. The only good point I see in this movie is that we get to see a different kind of superhero that you usually only see in bad fanfiction. I'm just kind of intrigued.

 

I think Will Smith is a good actor, but lately he's playing similar roles, in Independence Day, I,Robot, I Am Legend, and now Hancock. All tough guy, main character roles, and it's starting to get annoying.

I may or may not see it. It seems like one of those, "I'm bored. Ah hell, I'll go to the movies and see what's there" kind of things. *shrugs*

 

i loved all of will smiths movies im sure i like this one and im going to go see it sunday so i tell you if its worth watching

 

Got back from seeing this two hours ago, and i quite enjoyed it.

It was original, at least in my book, and it made me laugh. All in all a good movie.

 

I meant it in the way that Will Smith will always be the Fresh Prince in my eyes.

 

I remember watching a special about him, and he said that when he first started out, he and his agent went over all the movies of the past three decades and realized that the top ten blockbuster hits contained special effects and a gripping storyline. It's pretty much all strategy when he picks and chooses what movies he stars in. Granted, Wild Wild West was a...disappointment, but all the rest involved creatures and special effects of some type, causing his steady rise in movie stardom.

I haven't seen Hancock yet, but after seeing the previews, I'm game. :)

 

I loved Hancock. It seemed like a bit of a different spin than usual to me.

 

Really want to see this one, and probably will soon.

Will Smith as a super-anti-hero is just too much to miss out on XP

 

I saw it a few days ago. Will Smith's acting was great as usual, but the movie just can't compare to other superhero films. The plot was original but it just isn't worth going to theaters. It's better to rent it (in my personal opinion)

 

Why?...He's funny and a great actor.
