Halloween

Saw this a month or so ago.

So what did you all think of Rob Zombie's re-make of the epic slasher?

Good, bad, so so?

Any thoughts or discussion on it?

 

I heard and saw the comercails and I thought it looked kinda cool. Was it?

 

If you like horror movies alot, then yes it was good.

I think they went a little over the top with the sex scenes though... they really weren't needed.
And don't bring along easily frightened/grossed out friends; if you do go. XD

 

In my honest opinion, no remake could ever out do the original film of Halloween, a forerunner of it's time and the genre, the suspense and style is something which cannot be replicated.

I have yet to see the full version of the remake, so maybe I am being a little hasty, I hear it IS a good version, but I am not expecting wonders.​

 

Yeah, I completely understand.

A movie has to be utterly brilliant if it ever wants to be better than the original version, IMO. :]

Halloween re-make did not exceed that... but it was still fairly good.

 

oh yah then I should not see it. See I was planing on seeing it next weekend.

I know what you mean, the sex scenes were by far too many in number. It makes me wonder what honest town has that many teens sneaking around and getting it on like that xD

I saw it with a few of my friends last month. Thankfully we don't get skieved by such things, 'twas awesome.

I agreed. I saw half of the movie, then left... But I thought the movie was good, till I left.

I noticed that too... it's like he some perverted killer. Not that slicing people up was enough, he had to just sit there in a corner at watch them. :/

 

So true, I bet it was because of some sort of jealousy, haha.

 

I saw it with my cousins, and they hated it. Me, I liked the begining...but the rest was predictable from there.

Though, I did chuckle at the dialouge of those teenagers...XDDD!
