Did anyone else laugh a lot at this? Since HJO has the biggest role in the games (arguably) he must have some idea of the storyline (maybe not lol) but just think how confusing it would be to go into like... Birth by Sleep and be all

In all seriousness though, if he didn't come back for III or whatever game in the future I would not be too terribly upset as long as they got someone close to what Sora should sound like. HJO's voice has changed so much throughout recent games that Sora doesn't sound the same now as he did even back on KH2.

I wonder if Haley Joel Osment, like, looks in the mirror and says "I'M A KEYBLADE MASTER!!" and does Sora's battle pose and voice. I know I would...

It's nice that he's somewhat certain he'll be reprising his role. It DID tick me off a bit though that he didn't remember Re:COM... >.< .

I think I have a feeling that he may be talking about 2.5 ReMix (such as for the newly added Re:coded cinematics), just 'cause I doubt that they are that far animating the sequences in KH3.

But anyway, yaaay~ Really cool to see his interest hasn't died down despite the universe's complex layout lol.

This but I didn't laugh I sort of face palmed at this point instead but anyways

My thoughts on this are progressively they're moving fast if they should have the audio done for this summer, I'd estimate it to be released around 2015-16 though still, mostly because before hand I've already read articles that said they could be releasing it 2018 all depending on how FF XV's sales go and how FFXIV ARR goes all in all Hopefully it all goes well. but aside from that progress looks good just have to be patient, I can't wait to hear well all the voices that'll be in KH3

It's nice to see that he's aware of the upcoming title and that he's set for recording.

I mean, it makes sense. Some KH fans might worship the ground he walks on, but he may have other jobs he's more attached to or that he enjoys more. Or voice acting may not be much of a thing for him at all. You never know.

You also have to consider that most voice actors don't read the entire script, just their lines. I remember there being a lot of buzz when Kingdom Hearts II came out because Christopher Lee was one of the few actors (maybe the only one) who read the script cover to cover, despite only having a few lines. HJO probably has the most lines of anyone, but he'd still miss out on the things that are said when he isn't on screen, which could make the plot of KH even more confusing than it already is. Imagine trying to piece everything together given only the scenes with Sora.
