Hakumei [Twilight]

Sessamaru, kindly, picked up the young woman. "Are you... alright?" He asked, his green eyes shining brightly. A draft picked up. "This One hopes you are, or it would be harder to explain things..."

 

"um, yes i am, thank you, she said blushing.

she looked around,

"um, why are you here?"

 

"This One is an Immortal..." he answered, walking into the center, his cloak billowing about his body. "Time for This One to get started..." He whispered, hoping everyone's attention was on him.

 

she walked over to the girl that fell "are you ok?" she asked helping pick her up

 

the girl nodded, "yes im fine thank you" her voice was sweet and calm

"maybe we should listen" she said as she smiled at this girl that helped her

 

"yeah.." she sat down waiting for him to speak

 

Kyoshi waved at the last of the Chosen to appear and turned to face his new Sensei. "Ready Sessamaru Sensei." He sat down cross-legged a few feet away.

 

Aria began to listen, taking note of the presence of a classmate. She waved slightly.

 

Sessamaru was never good with speeches, nor was he good at explaining such things... or so he thought. He looked about... "In short... The entire multiverse is at war. The supernatural and the natural are slowly destroying one another, devouring life-forces, crushing souls, and breaking hearts... You, the select few, are Chosen. Those born with supernatural powers in this Natural world who can stop this ever pressing war against all living things. This One is here to make sure that you do not fail. We all have a mission... To travel to the Worlds of Earth, Wind, Fire, and Water, and retrieve the Four Blades Of Nature." He paused for dramatic effect. "This One is not eligible to give out any more information... Are there any questions?" He asked gently, his eyes dimming.

 

"That. Was. Awesome. You've gotta show me how to do that dramatic thing Sensei!" Kyoshi stood up and grinned "So basically we're chosen to use our 'gifts' to save the known multiverse?"

 

By the end of Sessamaru’s explanation, Aria was speechless.

She heard the younger one ask. She looked to her new mentor for the answer anxiously.

 

Sessamaru nodded, his face forlorn. "It pains me to speak this to you..." He answered, looking upon the Chosen. "To endanger you was against This One's wishes. But, the Higher Power wished for Him to protect you, giving This One a little more comfort..." He explained. Sessamaru stared upon his apprentice, giving a smile. "Can you fare well with a sword?" He asked, preparing him for training before they had to leave.

 

Swords…?


â€Wait—we’re gonna have to use the swords?!†Aria inquired, louder then she meant to. “All of us? I don’t do well with swords…Maybe you guys could just…handle that. Why are all of us here…I mean…Why am I here? Can’t you guys do it wthout me…?â€

 

"I've never tried..." He tried to remember if he ever had. "Nope never had a reason too." He picked up a stick grinning "Lets start with the basics."

 

" i'll take a sword" cassie said

 

His eyes adjusted to her aura, which was invisible to the eyes of others. Fire? He asked himself, noticing the radiance. "You're part of the Four elements... We can't do it without you, for you are the only one eligible to wield the Flaming Sword..." He spoke softly, his tone reassuring. He stared at at his apprentice. He pulled out a sakabatou, holding it to his ready. "Attack..." Sessamaru told him. Without looking at Cassie "In due time, child..."

 

Aria muttered something to herself and took a seat upon a rock, observing the others quietly.

 

Kyoshi held his stick in a stance and charged recklessly at Sessamaru "Here I come Sensei!" But just before he could come in hitting range he used one hand to create a gust of wind launching him into the air and let him slash down directly at Sessamaru.

 

Sessamaru, in a quick two-step movement, knocked the stick aside, and plunged the reverse-blade sword into Kyoshi's stomach, knocking the young wind user to the ground. "Training Rule number one, Unless dual wielding, never perform an aerial strike." He spoke, knowing his apprentice is having a hard time breathing.

 

Kyoshi lay on the ground clutching his stomach and subconsciously sucking in more air then a regular person. Finally getting his breath back he stood and dropped the stick "Let's do this." His voice became a little sinister as he collected the air around him "I didn't get to pratice this move alot." He grinned wickedly as the wind around formed into invisable blades, following his control the launched at Sessamaru cutting and slashing at him in all directions.
