I saw the first 16 episodes, then I stopped for some reason. It was really good, though.

I've seen up to episode 21, and the stopped. xD
I'm wondering why they didn't dub the rest of the anime?

I'm pretty sure they did, since I saw volume 6 at f.y.e. once. They probably just don't have it online.

Dang. Well, I read the back of the box for volume 6, and it's pretty much when he goes to fight Tri-Edge/Azure Kite.

It's pretty much the events after Haseo gets PKed on his first day playing The World up to his fight with Tri-Edge/Azure Kite.

    Really?
What's up with the hole battle arena?
I saw it in a preview for for episode 22.

It's about a Online game called 'The World'. And the main character, Haseo, joins this guild called 'The Twilight Brigade' a guild made t find the existence of the 'Key of the Twilight' a forum myth, said to be held somewhere in the game.
Well there's also this thing where the players of the world goes into coma and such and this girl Shino, that Haseo liked goes into a coma and he blames Tri-Edge..

    Oh yeah, there fun!
    =DD

There RGP type games and there's three so far.
It's along the lines of the anime, Haseo tries to find Tri-Edge and battle him, cause he thinks that if he does Shino will come out of her coma.

You should! Also, the games, when you beat the first one you can transfer your saved data to the next game and start off at the same level as well as have all your items from when you beat it. Same with beating the second.

I remember //ROOTS. I got into the .hack series through //G.U. and watched ROOTS as a result ;D.
It was pretty good, and it was nice to finally know more about what Haseo's deal was at the beginning of the first //G.U. game. He was so...Mean. .__.

I don't know if it was just me though, but there seemed to be some quality control issues that suddenly started getting a lot worse around the half-way point, art-wise. That's my only real qualm with the show...But most people I've talked to don't seem to have noticed o__o maybe I'm wierd.

Btw, all of ROOTS is available in English. I've watched it all in English =P .hack//ROOTS and .hack//G.U. are some of the few anime/game series where I prefer the English dub.

Oh and, I ADORE .hack//G.U.'s art style. ADORE it. Kinda random but I felt the need to say that. ^^;.

Do you have to ask? It's how I got into .hack. Speaking of ROOTS, I miss Sakisaka.

I watched them online, although I do have some of it on DVD.

And yeah, I loved the games <3 I'm currently loaning the second and third ones out to friends though so I only have the first one to play if I want to DX. G.U. probably has one of my favorite art styles of all time. The movie was gorgeous like that too...I wonder when they'll release it in English? DX It's been since March that it came out...
