Alright, I'll stay away from the other anime, and I haven't seen any of the manga in the stores I go to. I'll let you guys know what I think about them!

They should be here tommorrow! I'm so excited! XD

Hmmm. Watch //Roots since it is good to learn about Haseo's back round, becuz even if you do understand .Hack//G.U's story, it still helps to get why he cared for the original Atoli (I forgot her name, but it is the girl that Atoli basicly looks like, so I just thought I would refer to her as the original Atoli. She isn't actually the original atoli.....)

Now, as for novels, you might also want to read them, if you are interested. I personally like reading, wathing, and playing everything .Hack related. I find that .Hack//AI buster is a good one to read, since it provides a bit of backround on Herald, a few of the game creators, and the differences between the Crimson and Cobalt gaurds, as well as a few things that Morganna has done to the game.

.Hack//Anouther birth is a great one to read as well. It tells the entire .Hack story over again, except it is from blackrose's point of veiw, and it provides what I would've thought to be a much much better storyline for the game, since unlike the game where only certain emotions are shown, and barely any of the side charecters get involve, the book involves people into the story a bit more, such as how Blackrose (Akira) grows some feelings for Kite, her irratation for Piros, and a sister like relationship with natsume.
It isn't action packed, but, none the less, a good thing to read after beating the game

Now, I havn't read this one quite yet, but, there is a Manga called .Hack//XXXX which is a recreated version of Project .Hack, with a few different charecters, but I hear it is good. Won't read it myself though.

And also, Stardust mentioned the anime .Hack//Legend of the Twilight. DON'T WATCH THE ANIME. Instead, by the manga's. I've compared them, and not only does .Hack//Legend of Twilight fill you in on a few things about some stuff that goes down in G.U, but also, it is 10x better then the anime since it actually has some backbone to it

I see. Well unfortunately, as I said in my previous post, I can't seem to find them at any of the bookstores I go to.

Dam. Well, unless you really want to get into the story of it, you probably shouldn't then, but otherwise, why not order them from anouther library then?

Also, DO NOT watch the .hack//G.U movie (trilogy I think it was called). I personally thought it was a waste of my time. Awsome graphics, but that was it. I agree with many others saying that it doesn't leave up to the game, and I also thought a lot of it was rushed. If I had watched it b4 watching the game, then a lot of it would not make any sense to me at all, since they had so many time skips in it that I felt like I was gonna skull bash my computer ^_^

Hmm. Well, I might wait till I get some more money, since it cost like $50 total for the games, including S&H.

Yeah, but I wasn't interested in them then, infact I didn't even know about them. Although, I did see a advertisement for Quarantine in a magazine once.

Lol. Funny thing is that .Hack//Sign was the first anime that I ever really got into (all the other ones were crap, including dragon ballZ), so then when I saw the games come out, I grabbed them instantly.

If I never watched .Hack//Sign, then I doubt I would even be talking to you at this very second, or that I would even have an account on this forum

It's kinda scary when you think about what could have been.

I just remembered something! They use a few of the same names in both series. Skeith, Magus, Innus, and Mia are in both. I think there are others, but I can't remember.

Lmao. Trust me, it isn't any coincidence at all. Have you watched all of the cutscenes of both games yet? if not, then you should probably stop, since those are what really makes up the game's story, know what I'm sayen?

(thinks of what could've been, and pictures a preppy kid runnen away from a mexican kid, taunting other kids, and acten like a *****y little rich kid). ****, that's scary O_O

Yeah, I saw all the cutscene's for GU and I made it up to Outbreak for the original, but then I stopped.

Pity. That really must've ruined the story line then :(

But if you notice in many of the scene's though, there are reasons to why they all have the same names. Take a good look at Skeith for instance.....

Not really, I enjoyed it. I like watching cutscenes and then seeing them when I play the game.

Well, I suppose he does look a bit similar in both.

Hmmm. Well then, I guess I have no problem with that. I hate doing that (except for the first cutscene I ever saw of it, which was when Haseo first turns into Skeith), but I suppose it is no problem with you then.

lol. they tried to make them look as similure as they could with the bosses. After all, I doubt that Innis would look very good in G.U if atoli turned into a giant wall, lol

Either way though, for some of them can you see the little differences?

    Skeith's gots same heads.

    Innis's........

    Magus's are both leaf-ish.

You get the point. I'm just sayen though, ya know. I am a huge .Hack fan, so I tend to get carried away :sweatdrop:

You're welcome. I didn't make it myself, I just found it randomly one day. I actually prefer this version to the original, sounds more creepier and works well with the video.

Much better version. The original is kid friendly, but this one is more adult orientated, know what I'm sayen?
