Guitar Hero II

Same here.

Today I tried some more, I got past Who Was in my Room Last Night and Can't You Hear Me Knockin, but I got stuck on Sweet Child O' Mine. It looked easy enough, but my fingers weren't that fast. D:

Its all about Thunderhorse on hard or expert...I love that song...Brandon Small is a genious IMO

 

This is my favorite game series besides Kingdom Hearts. Got both games on Christmas and dedicated alot of time into it to get better. Now I can do every song on expert in both games excluding Jordan and Six because those ones are tricky.

Sorry about other thread... Yeah i play Expert 5* all the way down to carry me home and from then on I have 4 and 5*'s. (Now I have no 3* anymore) I find the hardest song to 5* is thunderhorse and Six.

 

Heh if anyone wants help too ask me I can give you some tips as well as when to use star power.

Well, me and my freinds challenge each other on how far can you go on songs like Jordan or Six in expert mode.

Jordan = 61%
Six = 7% lolololololol

I play on a controller and a real guitar. Six is waaay easier on a real guitar IMO.

My favorite is Hangar 18. I don't know why but I love hearing Marty Friedman's solos.

 

I like Hanger 18, it's my warmup next to carry on wayward son. 61% not bad on jordan. (5* ) Six the intro try to Strum fast and the part where it has the Green-yellow-orange Hit what you can (Green and yellows) then double strum the fast part. The main beat just figure out what you can for it. I would really like to play you considering you can use a controller, it's to hard for me, I have to play the SG controller.

 

At least you own an SG controller. I have to play songs like Six and Miserlou on a real controller, damnit! The flurry of notes, the mashing of the shoulder buttons, the "Song Failed" sign, the pain, the misery...LOL

I tried playing on a regular controller today.

I did Radium Eyes on Medium and Hard, I was good at the slow parts at least... D: I got confused a lot.

 

Geez misrouli on a controler...ouch. Heh just keep working, it takes alot of practice to get good. I LOVE radium eyes I just got 100% on it on expert today (Keep missing this note in the solo) Anyone want some help?

 

Nah, I'd rather not. My fingers would die out everytime.

Examples of parts of songs (Expert mode) that I claim impossible on a controller:
intro of Six
Miserlou (the whole song lolololololololol)
solo B of Jordan (impossible I tell you)
the last part of the solo of Jordan
intro of The Light That Binds (the time the distortion kicks in)
etc etc etc.

I just can't play the same notes that are cramped up! Examples are Miserlou and Dave Mustaine's end solo on Hangar 18 (you know, that damn orange button?).

 

I can't imagine Jordan. But the bridge is my favorite part of that song. I 100% Mr fix it (Expert)
