-sama is a japanese honourific for people that you hold in high esteem, similar in nature to "Mr." or "Miss", or sometimes "sir". Hence, you are Marushi-sama.

And no, I liked being called DT-chan. It's adorable ^^

    Oh wait, I predict Excasr.

    Yes here I am, DT-chan! ^^

-sama,-no-okami,-chan,-kun.-san... They are honorifics, used in Japan to show respect to someone.

[You uses them after the name]
-San: Is "sir", "mister", etc. And it is used when you don't know the person very well. (Both male and female)
-Kun: Same as san, but used to males. (Male)
-Sama: Very Important People, mostly kings or real family and this stuff. EXTREME respect. (Both male and female)
-No-Okami: It's used to Gods (yes, mythology). EXTREME respect. xD
-chan: A fond honorifics, usually used to animals or after a nickname. It's like "Dear", "honey", etc. Usually to girls. (Mostly, female)

And so on, there are many honorifics. XP

    Marushi-no-okami.... shows up!

Is -kun not more similar to -chan, than -san?

    Marushi-sama's up next.

No, the far I know, no it isn't... y'know DT-chan (it's fun call you that way), part of my family is from Japan, so it's just ask one of them! =]
-chan is more to say "Dear DT", most usually used to girls because... well, I would be strange I say "Hey, Rienzel, honey, are you going somewhere today?", but isn't strange see you say "Marushi, m'dear, let's go shopping!". -kun is most used to boys and -san to adults.

    Annnd, you'll post next! =]

lol, wow, I didn't know I was comparable to gods and royalty. You all make me blush. *\^^/*

And DarkTraitor, sorry for being gone so long, I was trapped in the RPG arena and had to find a secret key that would return my freedom and allow me to leave that curs-ed ground. XD

Shall you post next, by any chance?
