Guardians of Larenska

*Coa looked around. The group was back together. but this wasn't a time for catching up. He looked out and watched the heartless draw closer*

"alright, what would youl ike me to do sir?"

 

"Use long-range magic to take out the leaders," Wirdikov said. "Use your weapons when they get in close. These guys aren't going to stand a chance against us, as long as we can kill them quick enough to be able to get to our castle and fix the defense system so we can kill the army coming towards us. Otherwise, when the real army gets here, we're going to be in trouble..."

Wirdikov raised his arms, and holy magic sprayed from his hands, hitting the lead Heartless with fury, ripping through them with the power of light almighty...

 

Ren looked up and pulled out her sword from the ground.

 

Hegemoth pumped his legs, thinking madly. What would Wirdikov think of me coming back without the others? he thought. He'd probably feed me to that army of Heartless. Hegemoth would probably last for a few hours of endless fighting, but soon the sheer mass of the Heartless would overwhelm him.

His face grew ghostly white. A memory of what Wirdikov did to a traitor Guardian years ago flooded into Hegemoth's eyes. He shuddered and tripped on a hole. He fell heavily on the ground. He staggered back up and saw that he was close enough to see the shapes of a circle of people. He stared at the golden armor on Wirdikov. Hegemoth watched as Wirdikov shattered the first line of Heartless.

Hegemoth charged at them, blasting through the Heartless in his way. His eyes turned solid gray, his pupils disappearing completely. He was an invincible force.

Wirdikov watched Hegemoth fling through the mass of Heartless. He readied himself for anything. Anything could be going through Hegemoth's brain right now. If he had disappeared into the woods, and had not seen any kind of civilization for years, he probably would have gone half insane, too.

Hegemoth finally broke through the Heartless' forces, practically flying through the air towards the Guardians. He pulled out Trigger, readying the blade. He aimed straight for Wirdikov. No one would ever know what was going on through Hegemoth's head right then, nor would anyone know besides Hegemoth and Wirdikov what happened when they met.

Wirdikov blocked Trigger and swung his own weapon, Darksting. After that it was just a blur of dark green and gold and the flash of weapons. Hegemoth and Wirdikov were everywhere. Bouncing off the ground and each other. In a minute or two the dark green blur slammed into the ground, Trigger bouncing a few feet away. Wirdikov stood calmly over him, Darksting's edge pointing towards Hegemoth's neck. Both were breathing heavily. After a few long seconds, Darksting was put down by Wirdikov's side. "Don't worry, Hegemoth..." Wirdikov said, "I won't do anything to you. We're on the same side. We need you to help us defeat the Heartless. Will you join us?" Wirdikov stuck out his hand for Hegemoth to take.

Hegemoth took it without hesitation, "What else are we Guardians for," he asked, with a smile forming.

 

*coa stood watching the battle between the two. He was amazed by their speed and accuracy. Soon the fighting was over and the two made up. Hedgemoth was now with them. Coa walked up and stuck out his left hand, His helmet was still in his right. Realizing this he quickly swiched hands and held out his right hand*

"Coa Barton, nice to meet you."

 

Hegemoth took it, "Hegemoth. Sorry for the rude introduction. I'm not sure what I was thinking." But, Hegemoth knew all too well what had happened. Luckily Wirdikov beat him or else there would be one less guardian to stand up to the Heartless.

 

Coa smiled, he was glad more members had showed up, and Hegemoth seemed to be a vertran of sorts. He held out his keyblade and pointed it at the heartless that were still drawing closer to the group.

"Fear the power of twilight heartless scum." Coa shot of deep navy energy balls towards the heartless, takeing them out one by one.

 

OOC: My brother wishes to remind you Neo, that his name is "Hegemoth," not "Hedgemoth." I think it's hilarious...But there you go.

BIC: Wirdikov snapped Darksting forward. That could have gone a lot worse... he thought, staring at Hegemoth. They would be having a talk later, but for now...

Holy energy burst forth from Darksting, ripping into the Heartless. Suddenly, the Heartless burst from the ground in front of them. Wirdikov grunted, and unleashed a fast holy wave that sent them smashing back into the ranks of the others, spreading holy energy everywhere.

"Now it's time for you to feel my blade, Heartless!" Wirdikov said coldly as the Heartless pushed forward, regardless of the combined magic of the guardians.

 

OOC: Our computer's been having problems lately, so to help it along, I (Wirdikov) am switching all of my stuff over to DarKnight36. So, I'll be posting as DarKnight36 from now on, but I'll still be Wirdikov. (It's too bad, I liked my sig...)
