He was staying right here. He was not going to leave or do anything. The poor kid nearly had an anurysm when all this went down with the gingerbread house, and was already basically hyperventilating over how all the table were moving everywhere. "Oh, my God." He said, clinging to the edge of the table as he just stood there. He was extremely terrified of this classroom. Things are floating everywhere! What if I fall off or something and destroy my arm or ...or....break my leg? He thought frantically, fumbling with his little tea thermos before taking a drink with wide, flicking, paranoid eyes. It helped him calm down and he actually managed to stop hyperventilating. His eyes were wide and he looked out of the window, getting startled by an owl staring at him. 'Owl!' His mind noted and he nodded. They were so creepy! He hated owls! He'd watched The Third Kind about a month prior and realized that owls were the harbingers of getting abducted by aliens. I don't want to get abducted by aliens! Oh, my God! What if they do tests?! Eventually, he calmed down once again. "Shut your mind down a little..." He mumbled quietly to himself, though his fingers were still tapping like lightning on his jeans..

Man, this kid really needed to calm down. Sam gave out a little yawn, still resting in his own wall of the room until he went over and took a seat on a chair he'd managed to wrest from it's floating state. He watched as the spastic kid also did the same. Sitting down, he watched all of the people coming in lazily with his heterochromic eyes-the blue and the brown, so different, analyzed each person as they came by, his nose twitching every so often when he caught an unfamiliar scent as he registered it in his brain. He scratched at his ear a little bit with one of his hands, stretching and allowing his spine and bones to crack a little bit before giving a little roll of his shoulders and neck, ready for the class. A notebook was on his lap and a few pens were stored in his pocket in case he needed to take notes.

Morgan frowned as he was pushed away. Does she have a thing for Sid or what... He shook his head to rid himself of the thoughts before he became sick of them. Quite literally too. He then walked over to Nat and Gracie. "Since it was all one big accident, and no one was harmed during it, we all should just get to class now." He said, finishing it off with a whistle and then started slowly down the hall, just waiting to be stopped for some reason or another.

Carter gave up, dragging his feet toward class again. He still felt quite nauseated from seeing Miss Nixon around Squid. He stuck his tounge out, making throw up gestures as he walked toward class, his shoulders sagging. Now..lets see. Day 1 of a torturous year, but at least I don't have a stuck up room mate. In other words I can sneak out at 1 in the morning and not get a strict lecture from a guy wearing only tighty whiteys he thought, looking at various posters on the wall, looking at passing students, hoping somebody would start a fight or something before he got to stupid magic class.

Natasha met Morgan's eyes for just a brief moment. There was a question of trust playing across her eyes when he spoke to them as she didn't even offer him a smile or any acknowledgement to his advice. She did hear him though, she wasn't ignoring him at all. Once glance over her shoulder proved to her that a teacher had the other staff members preoccupide, so this boy's plan was smart. Looking ahead of her slowly, she put her hands on Gracie's shoulder as subtley as possilbe and helped her to walk forward, following after the boy to their first class. Another smaller boy was following right behind them, but Natasha didn't take much notice to him, even with his mouse ears. They had to get away after all.

OOC: I'll let Miss Nixon post first. ^^

OOC: not sure what to do.

Miss Nixon walked, softly grabbing onto Natasha's shoulder, "I'm putting you off with a warning, since it's the first day. One more toe out of line.." she threatened, letting go of Natasha's shoulder and speeding off to who knows where.

OOC: Thanks for posting though. ^^

The girl sighed out in relief when her shoulder was released by the creepy lady who Natasha figured was the dean. So she was let off the hook this time... thanks to the teacher. Natasha looked over at the teacher who was still talking to the lunch lady, and then felt a pair of eyes watching her.

Miss Crimpton was staring long and hard at Natasha, not even taking any notice to Professor Sid. "I'll have you know, Professor Sid, that even though you talked your students out of trouble that I'm always watching them... very... very... carefully..." And with that creepy, ominious thought, Miss Nixon turned away from the mess and disappeared back into her flaming fortress of poisonou- erm... delicious meals.

Natasha sighed out as she looked to the ground, knowing deep down inside this little incident wasn't over. "Thank you..." Natasha muttered under her breath to the older man. She then looked up at him, smiled a bit, and then turned to head to the first morning class. There were only a few minutes to spare, but she knew she would make it. "Gracie... lead the way."

Rachel felt the motor of her Honda ST1300 shudder to a stop underneath her, pulling the keys out of the ignition. She grabbed her two bags, and swung her leg over the side, standing up while slinging a bag over her shoulder. She leaned over her bike and put a lock onto the bike making sure that her bike was stable. She took off her helmet and ran a hand through her curly hair. She hung the helmet on the handle bars and turned to face the school. She was late, really late. She sighed and walked through the school to the large doors of the school. She weaved her way to her dorm, fumbled with the door key and tossed her stuff onto the bed, not even taking the time to enter into the room. She fumbled with her schedule and skimmed it quickly. “Magic Class?…. Where is that?†She asked herself, beginning to feel her head spin. ‘Great, late and lost…’ She pulled of the map and searched, finally finding the class room. She began running to the classroom, her footsteps echoed through the empty hall way. She walked past the scene where many students and teachers had gathered and even though it sparked her interest, she shook off her desire to investigate. She finally found the classroom and walked in, her eyes assessing the absent teacher and floating things made her sigh out, a slight relief filled her body. “Great, all of that worry for nothing.†She didn’t take any notice of anyone in the room right away, but her eyes looked onto a rather jumpy kid and a rather large kid sitting on a chair that looked rather reluctant to be still. “Hello…â€

Where was the teacher? He had to be in here, right? He HAD to be here! If he wasn't, what was going to happen?! The room could delve into chaos, the air could turn into Radon and they could all get poisoned, or even butane and someone could maybe make a spark with dragging their table leg and the room'd combust and the school would burst into flame and the unholy magic would keep their souls in the classroom and they'd remain there for all eternity until someone came to investigate, then they'd-STOP. His mind yelled, irritated with his course of thinking. PAY ATTENTION. It demanded and he obliged, nodding and twitching as someone said hello to him. "Gaah!" He yelped in startled surprise, hand suddenly jerking of it's own accord. If he'd been holding something, it would have hit her. He blushed and put his elbow on the table, resting his face on it. "I..uh...hi. Hi." He said with wide eyes, then looked away from her.

Oh, hey. Another person. The boy's nose lazily twitched as he learned towards her as she entered. He registered it in her brain along with a snapshot of her features with his photographic memory. As she spoke out, he looked up to her only to see that she'd looked at both of them. Which one had she spoken to? He waited for a second but the other boy had his eyes squeezed shut like he was contemplating something. "Oh, hello." He said, a smile illuminating his features for a moment. His deep voice had echoed out at the same second as the other man's, overpowering it in a certain aspect but also getting overpowered in another by a strange quality in the other man's voice. They could both be heard, to put it plainly. He turned back to his table and set down his notebook upon it, opening it and taking out a pen, shaking it once before beginning to draw a little, rough ink sketch of the front of the room. It was only a couple inches long in the bottom corner of his paper, just something to preoccupy him while he waited.

Morgan walked up to Peter while watching the girl walk away. Though, since they were going the same way they just might end up talking... Either way was fine by him.

He placed his hands in his pockets and sighed deeply. "Boy, weren't those two a scary duo? I hope I never have to see them together again for the rest of time..."

Gracie scrambled to put the gingerbread school back together until she felt a soft hand on her shoulder and help her up. She smiled at Natasha as she wiped the crumbs off her white dress. She bent down and grabbed her baby blue parasol delicately, treating it like she should treat her friend; kindly and respectfully. Gracie looked at Morgan confusingly. 'I've never seen him before...' the girl thought. Before the boy could see her staring at him, she turned her head away.

"Of course," Gracie said, replying to Natasha's comment. She started to walk straight, made a right turn at the next intersection, and looked at the doors carefully. "Let's see..." the girl whispered to herself. "Magic class is number....29, if I recall correctly." Gracie looked down the hallway and finally saw the room numbered 29. She looked behind her, seeing that Morgan and Natasha were following. "We're here!" Gracie said to them as she opened the door and walked in gracefully, parasol in hand.

Professor Sid smiled as everyone left. "And thus, another school year starts. Oh, Plato, was the Academy anything like this?" He walked over to where the remains of a gingerbread house were and decided to make things easier on the janitor. "Why are you all over the place? Pull yourself together!" And with that, he walked away towards his classroom, humming a tune. The gingerbread house's pieces quickly started to float and merge back together before a now complete house landed back on its proper place.

Sid quickly walked into his classroom and noticed the students. Something was off. "You! Show yourself. You're going to scare the others," he said as he pointed to a book that was floating in the air silently.

The book floated towards the center of the class before a curved white line appeared above it. Then tiny green dots and a purple star; a mouth and eyes. "Meow!" The mouth said as a purple cat appeared, finishing off its appearance. The cat's unusual grin disappeared as it jumped down to an empty seat...but a boy landed instead of a cat. "Why, my oh my, I do apologize!" Neko said as he adjusted his seat.

Rachel smiled at the reaction of the jumpy boy, his ashtonishment making her laugh. The boy with the deep voice smiled as well. Could it have been the moment wehre both voices met with a clarity in each other's distintive tomber? She smiled broadly to herself, memorizing each of the men's voices. She took in their characteristics, the frightened boy's hesitation with each syllable and the low rumble of the second man's voice. She steped on the table and put her foot on a chair that was fighting with her. She took a seat on it, the chair sinking under her foot just far enough so that she could sit on it. 'Knock it off.' She told it in her head, the chair reluctantly receeded to the floor. She looked up at the voice of the teacher and smirked, laughing inwardly. It didn't scare her, in fact, from previous rumors, it seemed quite normal. She looked up to the cat, raising an eyebrow when he turned into a human. 'Well, I should have expected that...' She told herself, listening closely to his voice, slightly melodic. She smiled and looked away from them, feeling as if she was beginning to stare.

Carter had walked in just in time to see Neko go from a book to himself again, mostly human. He chuckled as he went to the very back right corner, where the still desk and his binder still remained. There were a lot of people he didn't really know in the class, which puzzled him, considering he knew a lot of people on campus, even though they didn't know him. He noticed Professor 'Squid' looking all happy as usual, which wasn't a change. He tapped his foot and twiddled his fingers on his desk, anxious just to start class, considering the sooner it started the sooner it would end. All he wanted to do was have weapons class after all.

Zach pedaled backwards, hopping off his bike over the few areas where you can park a bike. He took the bike lock right off the side of his backpack, locking his bike to the metal bar securely. His face was beaded with sweat, he wiped it with his sleeve, the sun feeling as though it was radiating him intensely, even though it was quite a mild day out. He ran inside, his backpack weighing him down. He sprinted up several flights of stairs, "Six..six..six..six.." he muttered, arriving at dorm 6 and taking the key out of his pocket, opening up the door recklessly and slipping inside. He checked his watch and groaned, throwing his backpack on the empty bed. He was slightly disappointed to see somebody's stuff of the other bed. He took out a pen and a binder from his backpack, running out of the room and quickly walking toward the direction of magic class, still panting from his sprint up the stairs.

Peter looked up at Morgan as the two girls wandered off down the hallway and then nodded his head to agree with Morgan. "I don't wanna run into them again," he said quietly and sincerely. He then sighed out and looked down the hallway towards where the two disappeared. "Should we... go to class?" he asked as his left ear twitched slightly and his tail swished with uncertainty. He couldn't wait to get started, even though he was feeling a little nervous. He knew there was nothing to be scared of though, because he already made one friend and he was on the path to making another one. He wondered who else he would meet and get to know. The girl in the blue dress with the parasol seemed very familiar to him in a strange way. He then looked up at Morgan, expecting him to lead the way to their first class.

"Wow..." Natasha breathed out as she walked into the classroom and saw the chairs floating around with the books. She could see that the professor was already there, along with other students. She quickly scanned the area, found a place to sit, and walked over to it. She didn't want to keep the teacher waiting, so she didn't make eye contact with anyone yet. Plus, she was still shook up from Miss Nixon and Miss Crimpton. It was almost like being at home all over again. Without really thinking about it, Natasha pulled a chair down from it's levitation state, set it on the floor, and then sat in it. Who she was sitting by, she really didn't care at the moment. She looked over at Gracie, wondering where she was going to sit, and smiled at her a little. 'No need to act too cold...'

"Of course. If we do not hurry we'll be late."And with that Morgan started down the hall.

They soon arrived to the class, a little after the two girls had done so. It seemed as if everything was floating about and the usual strange students were around. While looking around the room his eyes caught Gracie again. For whatever reason...he felt like it was his job to protect her. He couldn't quite grasp it; it was just like how he knew he would be good friend with Peter. It was all so strange. And so is this school. And myself even.

He shook his thoughts with a sigh and averted his eyes before he could be seen staring at her by her and the others in the classroom and started looking for two empty seats. He found that the one in the front, nearest to the door, was open and sat in it, gesturing for Peter to sit in the one next to it. "Only if you wish though."

"Holy...!" He nearly burst out into a profanity, Alexei, as he saw that floating book grow eyes and a mouth! He looked horrified as it solidifed into a cat and whined quietly, not liking this at all! It was invisible! He pressed his back against his seat, eyes wide as his hands clutched at the table. 'Oh, calm down, you freaking spaz. He's not going to eat you or anything.' His mind scolded gently and he nodded, opening his notebook and looking up at the teacher. He scribbled the date in the upper left-hand corner, careful about how he wrote it so that he'd be able to see it at a glance with just opening his notebook. He scribbled down 'magic' in his scripty handwriting in the top of the paper, the very top, running his hand over the paper a few times to smooth it out as he indicated a little line where he'd start writing.

Sam could already tell that this was going to be a long year if he had to deal with this....thing every single class period. As he appeared, that feline nightmare, his eye twitched a little bit (the right one, his blue one) and he nearly growled. He just didn't like the way this boy was. He had an urge to force him down into the seat and coat him black ink so that they could always tell where he was. He didn't say anything, though, just faced forwards to the teacher and, in the little box in the top, right hand corner of his page, he wrote his name, the date, the teacher, and the subject in a sharp blend of cursive and print. He looked over it and smiled a little bit, liking how he wrote. He wondered absentmindedly what they were going to be learning about today and tried to ignore the urge to throttle and bury the Cheshire boy.

Zach walked down the hall along with other students, happy to see he wasn't late. He found magic class, although he was never quite a fan of magic. In fact, he would love for the school to have an armory; the only thing he was ever good at was making and taking apart things. He planned to take a seat in the front row, but then saw a boy with a tail and big ears. He gulped, a small whimpering sound in the back of his throat. Then he looked toward the back and saw another one, although this one was bigger, but at least he wore a flat cap over his ears. He sat in the middle, sinking down in his chair as he set down his binder. He took off his watch and took one of those really small screwdrivers out of his pocket and started dismantling the watch to pass time.

As the car pulled up to the school, Rosalind peered out the window to look at it. It was a beautiful and large structure, looking just like a mansion. The car stopped and she got out of it along with her parents, who immediately opened up the trunk. "Are you sure you'll be all right?" asked her mother. "I'll be fine, mom. I'm...responsible enough," replied Rosie a little hesitantly. Her dad lifted the suitcases out of the trunk and passed them to Rosie. "Be safe, all right?" "I will, dad. See you!" she said as they drove off. Lifting a suitcase in each hand, Rosie struggled all the way to the main entrance. Argh! I'm so weak! When she got to the steps, she put them down with a huff, and rested for a minute as she tried to remember where she was supposed to go. Dorms. Right. What number? Umm....4! Right. Hmm....I think I'm late...oh well. No use hurrying for something when I'm already this late. She had neglected to tell her parents that classes started 30 minutes earlier than what she originally told them. Whoops..well it shouldn't be too much of a problem...I hope. Her break over, she grunted as she lifted her baggage once more and headed toward the girls' dormitory. After a time, she finally arrived at her room, out of breath and sweating from the exertion. She reached into her pocket and tiredly inserted the key into the door, unlocking it. A few minutes later, Rosie finished unpacking and grabbed her binder with some notebook paper already in it(college ruled of course) a pencil, her schedule and proceeded to report late to her first class. As she was walking toward her class, she suddenly remembered that she didn't know where it was and quickly returned back to her room to get a map. I better make a habit of keeping the key in my pocket too. It would suck to lose it. I shouldn't be so careless. Finally armed with school supplies and a map, she began her journey into the school. I feel like I should report somewhere else, since I'm late and all. Get an unexcused tardy or something. Eh, we'll just see what's up at this school. When she arrived at the classroom, she doublechecked the number of the room with her schedule as well as her map. Taking a deep breath, as Rosie suddenly got nervous, she knocked on the door twice before hesitantly opening it, carrying all her stuff under her left arm. Immediately, she noticed that this school was definitely different from a public school because of the people. There were some kids that looked anthropomorphic and some that looked like they should be in middle school or something. Huh...didn't some teacher tell me that I'd be more of the older one at that one meeting? Did I get put into a lower class level? She checked her schedule. Nope. It's definitely Magic 101. Eh. Must be some super geniuses in this place then. Opening the door further, she stepped into the classroom and spoke nervously to the teacher that was dressed just like a wizard. "Um...hi...I'm...uh...a new student...and...uh...I was...kind of late...getting to the school...and...unpacking and I'm really sorry....sir." she said meekly to the wizard's robe. Rosie hoped that the other students wouldn't judge her too harshly for this. There should be one seat somewhere right? Already, her cheeks were on fire as she felt the stares from the other students.

Gracie's eyes met Morgan's slowly. She noticed he was staring at her, as she was before. She quickly turned her head away, blushing like a bright red rose. To cover the embarrasment, the girl quickly covered her face with her parasol. She almost sprinted into the classroom and took a seat next to Natasha. "Hey, Natasha?" Gracie asked. "For some reason, I feel like I'm drawn to that boy." She stared at the door as she saw him walk in and take a seat in a row in front of them, right in front of her. She gulped then sighed. This was going to be a long year...

Carter felt partially disgusted and surprised, That girl, what's her name...? Anyway why is she checking out Morgan? I'm not sure if I should feel proud or afraid for a guy I just met, what...10 minutes ago? he thought, looking back and forth between Gracie and Morgan. Carter ripped a piece of paper from his binder, fumbling with the paper and folding it into a paper airplane, blindly throwing it into the air, his eyes opening wide when he saw it was about to hit Rosalind, although Carter had never seen that girl before.
