Greatest System of all time?

PS2!!
u can play most kingdom hearts games on there and u hav a bigga screen than lyk a gameboy or DS or wateva...

 

Well I'd probably say Ps2 but I'm kind of tied between it and the NES. They both had great games and they were both awesome. Ps2 gave us MGS2, and 3, and KH, NES gave us Mario,and Zelda. That's all I can say.

 

In my honest opinion I'll say the "Gamecube" because of a few things.

1.) Had a easier way to get the Legend of Zelda games (Like orcarina of time, majoras mask, the first one and second)

2.) Because of mario games

3.) and because it was the only system I had when Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess came out and in my opinion the graphics on the game were better than the Wii version of it.



If I had to choose another system to be second I would choose PS2.

1.) Because it had the awesome games like everyone's favorite...
Kingdomhearts
Final Fantasy
Castlevania

But also had some other games that were good like

Tales of Legendia
Tales of The Abyss
Tales of Syphonia

But next to that there was also the action games like

God of war
Gauntlet

and more games like that...


Then in third there's the xbox

The only reason why I like it is because of the Halo games and fable thats about it

For me the PS2 and Gamecube are pretty much tied and the xbox is in second so yeah...

But seriously, I would say PS2, it dominated it's generation and had games for everyone. While this generation the consoles have branched off to Casual or Hardcore, the PS2 was the console for all types of gamers.

 

You have a point there but if you remember correctly most of the games that came out on the PS2 also came out on Xbox and Gamecube(Just want to point that out)

 

Yes, but also remember that exclusives are what sway people's choices a lot of the time in terms of which console to get.

Back in the PS2 era, most of the must-get exclusives were only to be found on the PS2. Metal Gear Solid was primarily a PS2 franchise until Snake Eater on the GameCube. Of course there was Jak and Dexter, God of War. As well, the JRPG industry was distinctly a PS2 genre during this time and had the loyalties of many really successful developers like with Squaresoft/Square-Enix (FF), Tri-Ace (Star Ocean), Konami (Xenosaga, Suikoden), Level 5 (Dragon Quest), the list goes on.

Sure, Xbox already had Halo and Nintendo had their Smash Bros and their other first-party titles, but a lot of the really popular titles that people liked about the PS2 were exclusives.

 

Wii; Ps2/Ps3

 

PSP, PS2, and *turns on Scream. Aim. Fire.* THE PS3!!!! XD

 

Tie between the Super Nintendo, N64, and Dreamcast.

For hardware, PS3 is the most powerful. Too bad the games suck......
For games and multiplayer, 360.
Ps2 was awesome, but it's not the best anymore.

 

Long life to the almighty PS2, this one is for me, the best console EVER, it has the best RPGs i have seen. And not just RPGs, all kind of awesome games.
