As much as I like Dio, I would have to disagree. The most talented singer in rock and metal I have ever heard would have to be Kamelot's Roy Khan.
Agree with this so much. Matthew Bellamy's got great vocal strings too, though it is odd how he...breathes so much while singing.
In no order; Adam Gontier ▲ As much as I don't like Three Days Grace, I really like Adam's voice a lot. Freddie Mercury ▲ Do I honestly even need a reason? Trent Reznor ▲ Not only does he make orgasmic music, his voice is... just terrific. Matt Bellamy ▲ Great vocal range, and just sexy vocals all over. There's a few more but I'm too lazy to list them.
Agree with this list as well. Trent's got the most emotional and real screams I've ever heard in music.
I knew this was coming.. I agree with Freddie Mercury.. but Elvis Presley.. No. the so called "King of Rock" didn't seem so 'king of rock..'
OK, yeah, James Hetfield can't sing worth crap. He's like Ozzy, technically an awful singer, but he knows how to use his voice.
"Of All Time": Bono from U2 Freddie Mercury from Queen My personal favourites: Emily Haines from Metric Raine Maida from Our Lady Peace Daniel Viktor from Neverending White Lights Mikel Jollet from The Airborne Toxic Event Luc Brien from Les Breastfeeders
Benjamin Burnley from Breaking Benjamin. B| And probably Jack Black for the lulz. Even though he can't exactly "sing" it's just so easy to tell him apart from anyone else just because he's...well, different. XD
Are you kidding? Jack Black has great vocal control, and sings better than most popular bands these days.
Freddie Mercury pwns this thread. ALSO, Jack Black ALSO, Brent Smith from Shinedown is pretty awesome.
