'Ello, KHV! I'm in need of a bit of assistance here...
With myself being un-educated in computers, I know nothing of what to do here.
I need a new Graphics Card, one that can handle playing things like Assassin's Creed. Dx
I have Windows 7 on my HP Laptop, and I think Windows XD on the HP Desktop

I'm thinking of going to Best Buy, and just be all "Graphics Card kthx", but I'd rather have the insight of a few others before I do something I may just regret.

    Thanks for any help!

I did a quick search, and it looks like GTX 590 is the current best one, alongside HD 6990.

    I hope this helps.

Well, getting a graphics card for a laptop (I'd imagine) is a lot more difficult than getting one for a desktop. Laptops simply aren't upgrade-friendly, usually.

What you should do is look at the System Requirements for the games you want to play (some sites even have a 'Recommended' section) and post them here. The model name/number of your computer(s) would help too. =]
