I really like the style you're heading for. Maybe if you had more Axel in it, I'd like it more. Maybe a render of him beside the text, or something. Just seems kinda plain in the middle. You got the right idea, and you're heading there. :3
I like it, other than the overwhelming redness. I know Axel's corresponding element is fire, and fire is red, but there's just so much red there it kinda hurts to look at for too long. Maybe if you included, like Rissy said, something in the middle, and perhaps something small to border the bottom it would look a little less red.
... That black smoke effect got me addicted. I love it. Much better but still a bit too much blank space in my opinion.
That's really cool. And I'm just saying out of this because I'm the type of person that usually goes with some type of symmetry, but would it look a little less open if you had another real with some pictures in that little open space in the middle going towards the right?
It seems very... flat. I like the film thing you got going with the Axel screenshots on the side but the red is really overwhelming and the black contrasts waaaay too much. Try using a different shade of red instead of pure red and maybe throw in some oranges (since that's a fire colour as well, I think). I hope that helped a bit. >___>;
