Google ordered to hand over Youtube User Information

    Yeah. Heck, I wouldn't be surprised if there was a world wide riot over Viacom's bull crap.

    But they aren't giving IP adresses =_= All Google is giving is the records of what was accessed by how many accounts. It doesn't look at who accessed what, when and from where. All Viacom want to investigate is how popular specific videos are, and then compare it to how illegal they are.

    Again I say, if you have done nothing wrong you have nothing to hide (and if anyone mentions the slippery slope argument, they are going to end up on the slippery slope to the grave >: )

    This may sound unintelligent, but why do they want our IP address? For videos that are illegal, can't Youtube remove them? As for, "private videos," they're not only asking to see them, but alot of things, right? I'm not saying they will get that information in the end, though, but I was just wondering why.
