Which ones are you talking about?
You have to specify WHICH poems and plays you're thinking of.

I think Shakespeare wrote most of them, but I would not be surprised if one or two of the poems actually belonged to Bacon. Having a well-known person present his work would probably get it more attention, even if he didn't recieve credit for them.

Umm, saxoR_vs_aroS, you should probably put some background information in you first post or a link to something explaining it because I don't believe the people get what you're talking about... Otherwise it isn't very 'intelligent'

Shakespeare. I like his works, despite their difficulty to read when tired or if just starting.

Bacon didn't do it. XD Shakespeare's GENUIS. Bacon... isn't.

I object your honour. i hoped to use this part of my debate later... There is evidence that bacon hated popular drama. for example. Shakespeares troupe once applied to the royal theatre. Bacon was part of the board the ferociously refused.

((for more info. if you want to get to the bit abouyt francis, read the evidence then open find and search for francis bacon.))

What if he was simply trying to cover up the fact that he wrote them? Maybe he didn't want them coming to the royal theatre because he was afraid to have someone suspect something. I'm not sure, and the evidence you have is very interesting, so I really don't know what to say. I don't agree or disagree one way or the other at this point, I'm simply presenting the other side of the arguement to help the discussion.

i think Shakespeare wrote most of the plays, most of the sonnets. a different guy after him added in a Witch part in Macbeth, might have finished unwritten parts in his plays and poetry.

i dont think it was Bacon tho.... if i had the book with me, i could give u a name DX sry

Shakespere wrote all of them, but he might of copied a bit of Bacon's ideas. I don't know this Bacon guy, and I don't wanna know him, sounds like some selfish punk who has been taking drugs all his life.
