Good and bad news

Let's say that a friend of yours has good news and bad news that she/he needs to tell you. Which would you rather hear first?

For me, I would rather hear the bad and then the good. I just have this thing where things need to have a happy (or happier) ending.

What do you guys think?

 

i sorta like you want to hear the bad first then the good.. but sometimes i want to hear whats goood first then bad idk thats just me but i prefer bad first good next ^_^​

 

Like you, I like to hear the bad news first.

I just think that the good news will make up for it. xD

what would happen if the news was really really bad, like a family member's death. The good news would be insignificant

 

Thats a good point. If I knew (or believed, by the feeling/vibes from the room/person) it would be something terrible, i would choose the good news first.

Normally, i go bade news. My kind of personality XD

 

I'd let them choose which order they think would be right to tell me

 

The bad, to get it out the way with.

If it was the news of a family member dying then I really doubt they would tell you in that way, or at least I wouldn't tell someone in that way o_O​

 

I have no idea but usually I'd like to hear the good news and then the bad news.

 

usually people only ask you what do you want to hear first if its light-hearted. So I don't really mind, I ask them to choose what they should tell me first x3

 

Good then Bad. I like things ending on an off-note.

Seriously? That's kind of odd, I've never heard of people actually liking things that was 0_o
