Gods: Reboot

NoN:*looks Nights and sighs before slowly making my way beside him.*

 

Nights: These are the children of this orphanage *waves his arm around the room at no one* It was quite a close call, just a few years back they were almost killed. Luckily they caught the virus in time and everyone was saved *smiles* Children this is our new friend, her name is *thinks for a moment* . . . I don't know if I caught you're name actually.

 

NoN:*gives a sheepish smile* Oh I didnt? Heh sorry ^^" *sweatdrops and rubs the back of my head* I'm NoN. *decides to play along* It's nice to meet you all.

 

Nights: . . . . . . *begins crying a little* . . . It was all my fault. I'm not really that crazy. Just pretending helps ease the pain. That food is for some of the local kids who come around every now and then but . . . there hasn't been a child staying here in a very long time. And it's all my fault . . .

 

NoN: But yet their presences are still here aren't they, you can feel it. *gives Nights a sympathetic look* you feel their suffering, and agony. Tell me, what did you do for them to feel such a way? *tilts my head*

 

Nights: It wasn't just a virus *lightning strikes in the distance as rain begins to pour* It was an experiment . . . I never knew it would turn out that way . . .

*flashback*
*screams*
Nights: What's going on!? You said there was a ninety-nine percent chance of success!
Man1: There was!! I don't understand.
Nights: Shut it down!! Shut it all down!!!
*screams turn into howls of anger*
Man2: We need to terminate the project. If the subjects get out then-
Nights: NO! . . . This wasn't supposed to happen. I can fix it. A slight miscalculation. I can-
Man1: There's no time!! *pulls a lever*
Nights: NOOOOO!!!
Alarm: All personnel, please evacuate immediately. Sterilization of the facility will begin in sixty seconds.
Nights: *trying to pry open the door to the subjects room*
Man1: Leave them!! We need to go!
Nights: NO! I won't!!
Man2: *grabs Nights and begins pulling him towards the exit*
Man1: *hits the lock button after the two exit*
Nights: Stop!! I can save them!!
Alarm: Sterilization of facility will begin in three . . . two . . . one.
Nights: NOOOOOOOOO!
Alarm: Sterilization complete. Facility has been cleared.
Nights: *falls to his knees*
Man1: Let's get out of here!
Man2: Leave him, we need to go!! *runs off*
Man1: *thinks for a moment on what he wants to do* . . . Sorry! *runs off as well*
Nights: *in tears*
*flashback fades as Nights is in the same position*

Nights: . . . It was never meant to harm them. It was supposed to help them . . . They would've lived on for years if it weren't for me. I was only trying to cure them . . . I still don't know what went wrong *slams his fist to the floor*

 

NoN:*crouches down to his height, no emotions showing what so ever* There was nothing you could do.. their fate was already sealed. But you can save others you know..

 

Nights: I couldn't save a soul . . . I couldn't save them . . . I couldn't save her . . . and I can't save myself * unknowingly made a remark about a mysterious woman from his past*

 

NoN: *gets a suspicous feeling but brushes it off* But what, if I could save you? *holds out my hand* Come, with me.. and I'll be able to show you.

 

Nights: . . . I'm not sure whether I deserve it or not but . . . *takes NoN's hand* I feel like . . . If I don't go with you now, I'll regret it for the rest of my life. *smiles* I haven't gotten a feeling like this in a while.

 

NoN:*smiles too* I hope that this is right. to do this. *thinks in my mind* Then it must be. Now, come. *stands up while still holding Nights hand* we must make sure that the kids on this street, can find the food, then I'll take you some where.

 

Nights: *stands up as well* Thank you.

 

NoN: It's not a problem~ *takes one of the bags and pulls him towards the kitchen*

 

Nights: *grabs the rest following her* I mean it though . . . I don't think anyone else would have done even this much for me . . .

 

NoN: I'm sure SOMEONE has done more then I have.. I'm just doing what comes naturaly. *sets the food inside of the fridge there* One day we'll come back... and open this place back up..

 

Nights: There was one . . . but she's gone *smiles* There's something about you. I can't put my finger on it, but I trust you completely. And I'd like that very much. To see this place up and running again would be great. Even if it has to take some time.

 

NoN: Feelings can be so deseiving.. *smiles* one day. *puts the rest of the stuff away* Now, what I'm about to do will probly freak you out, and make you rethink about trusting me. *looks away shyly* b-but please, just go along with it..

 

Nights: Doubt it . . . Once I trust someone, it's not easy to lose that trust. *smiles* Hit me with your best shot.

 

NoN:*grins* arlight then, *turns to a wall and holds my hand over it* Open. *my shadow streatches onto the wall and creates a portal*

 

Nights: *a bit shocked* That's new, never seen anything like that before. *smiles* I like seeing new things.
