Gods of the Deep Greek

ammeritta nodded in agreeance. she was watching raiden, but looked up at drake.
"are you going to stick around for awhile and go to lessons, or will you be leaving right after breakfast?"
her gaze went back to raiden who was doing a great job as an older brother.

raiden sat back down with his other siblings and continued to eat his breakfast. he didn't plan on staying for any lessons since they needed to take off for california. that was going to be a few days journey and they had no clue if the demigods spotted out there had that long. obviously if they found them at camp then the beasts had probably found them too.

hanna felt weird finally knowing who her mother was. it wasn't like anything had changed, but in a way she felt more powerful. it was a strange feeling and she wasn't sure if she liked that.
"y-yeah. i guess so. i'm sure you'll find yours soon too."
as if on cue, hanna watched as allen started to glow a shade of red. the shape of a red vulture faintly appeared above his head.

chiron perked up. two claimings within minutes each other. something big was going to happen if the gods planned to claim their children at the same times.

ella looked up from her bowl of oatmeal.
"ares. bunch of brutes."
she grumbled and went back to her food. she was late for breakfast, because she had been busy packing for the trip. by the time ella looked at a clock breakfast was almost over.

 

Noticing the shade of red he started to glow and the look on Hanna's face, Allen took a while guess on what was happening. "Is there a floating symbol above my head?"

 

hanna kept staring at the symbol and nodded slowly.
"yeah. it's some bird thing. i don't know what kind."

ella looked up from her oatmeal again. it was obvious hanna wasn't going to be able to help him so she decided to open her mouth.
"it's a vulture, the symbol of ares. so that makes you a son of ares."
she went back to eating her oatmeal and rolled her eyes. ella really hated the ares kids.

at a table down on the end, i tall guy that was more muscle than not, got up and walked over to allen.
"the name's vincent. i'm the ares counselor. when breakfast is done i'll take you on a tour."
he held out his monster hand to shake it.

 

Shaking Vincent's hand, Allen wondered what his other sibling were like. "Okay then." He replied.

 

vincent went back to the ares table to finish eating. before long it would be time for the first sessions of the day. each of the campers would go to their daily scheduled activities and meet back after a few hours for lunch.

raiden left the peitha table to finish packing for the trip. he didn't really have much to pack since everything he had with him was already in a backpack, but he wanted to stop in the infirmary to get some supplies.

 

"Well, at least we both know who our new parents are." Allen said before going back to his breakfeast.

 

hanna nodded in agreance.
"yeah. that's pretty great."
there was a loud conch shell type horn that blew. signaling the end of breakfast.

raiden and vincent both walked back over to allen and hanna to show them around the camp. raiden didn't have a lot of time, but felt it was his duty to show her around before he left. the rest of the campers headed to their morning activities except for ammeritta. raiden watched her get up and head towards the infirmary. probably to find out why the rest of the new demigods didn't come to breakfast.

 

Upon hearing the conch shell being blow Drake let out a small sigh and looked over at Ammeritta "I guess I will stay over at the camp for a while. I'm in no rush to leave so it will be nice to stick around" Drake said closing his eyes and crossed his arms

 

ammeritta smiled.
"wonderful. i'll talk to you soon. there's something i need to take care of."
she took off to the infirmary on a mission. she needed to speak with the new demigods that hadn't come to breakfast.

 

Allen looked at every place in camp half blood with amazement as he was showed around.


Wandering through california wan't Keel first choice of where to go after he had left home, but it's not like he was left with many choices. He had no money so he couldn't travel by taxi and his mother gave him a warning about traviling by the air which he still doesn't completly understand. Great, what I'm I supposed to do now? Looking up at the sky, he could tell that is was going to get dark soon so he needed to find a shelter a fast. Otherwise the rest of his walk was going to be pretty annoying.

 

vincent brought allen to the last stop on the tour. the ares cabin. inside the cabin was filled with dozens of different weapons, but the most predominate one was this large mallet hanging from the wall. it was the weapon of ares and hanging above it was a boar's head. the room was rather messy, but nobody inside of it ever seemed to mind. the bunks were shaped strangly like hammocks. instead of mattresses they had large hides that stretched out from post to post and soft bear skin blankets to cover up with. vincent walked over to an empty bunk and set his hand on the hide. he studied allen closely as he held onto the top bunk.
"this one is yours. whenever you get settled come find us by the rockwall. and watch out for the lava."
he reached into a drawer and pulled out an orange CAMP HALFBLOOD t-shirt and tossed it to allen.
"here. put this one."
when allen caught it vincent headed out the door to meet up with the others.

when ammeritta arrived at the infirmary she couldn't believe her eyes. all the other demigods had disappeared. she didn't understand how they could all just go missing and knew she needed to talk to chiron immediately.

hanna walked around enthusiastically with raiden. everything was so incredible to her. she wasn't sure what she wanted to do first, but when they arrived at their cabin she lost all her optimism. the peitha cabin was bleak and barren. not much appeared to be in there other than a small statue of their mother and a few diminishing bunks. most of the other cabins were more extravagent than this one just from the outside. she only wondered what they might look like on the inside.
"so umm...why isn't there anything in our cabin?"
she looked up at raiden with utter confusion.

he looked down at hanna and sighed.
"our cabin is one of the newest and there are only four-now five of us that live here. and since our mother is a minor god, we don't typically generate enough power to draw attention to ourselves by the monsters. so none of us live her year-round. i typically am never here at camp and our other three siblings are only here for the summer camp. so there isn't much in our cabin. we don't really keep any personal belongings here it just never seems worth it to decorate. there isn't really much 'theme-wise' you can go on with persuasion. it's just a waste of time really."
raiden watched as hanna's expression slowly went from sad to worse. he didn't mean to upset her, just tell the truth.
"but if you feel like decorating, then by all means go ahead."
he could see her cheer up a little bit, but not much.

elle was outside leading the archery lessons today. everyone seemed to be doing fairly well and only one person had to go to the infirmary due to an arrow in the arm. a little ambrosia would cure that right up. after the lesson was done she planned on starting her packing for the trip with raiden. it was going to be really weird with just the two of them. going without ammeritta seemed almost wrong since the two of them did everything together. the were attached at the hip. she lost focus for a minute and almost didn't see the arrow coming straight at her ear. with just enough time elle managed to move out of the way.

 

Once he had the shirt in his hands, Allen eyed it and looked at what he was wearing. He rather liked waering his hoodie, but maybe he could get away with wearing it once he had gotten accomidation with camp. Tossing it on his bunk, he put on the t-shirt and headed to twards the rock wall.


After wandering for a long time, Keel found himself in the city, but with once again no clue where he was. And I thought this was going to be easy. Looing up at the sky, he tried to figure out what to do next. He was tempted to pull out his cellphone and call his mom. BNut decided agaisnt it since the batteries were running low anyway. Takign one more glance around where he was at, he his best option was to try and find someplace that would take a wandering kid with no money.

 

ammeritta came bursting through the big house interrupting the iris message chiron was in the middle of. she wasn't sure who exactly was on the other end of the line, but she didn't care at that moment. a group of demigods had gone missing from the camp in the night and she needed to know why.

chiron looked up from his message to see ammeritta standing behind him. he waved the rainbow screen away and turned to look at her.
"ammeritta? how may i help you?"

she looked like she was about to explode.
"where are the other demigods from yesterday? they aren't in the infirmary?"

chiron looked almost sad as he spoke.
"they left. none of them wanted to stay here so they left early this morning. you know as well as i do that being here is a choice and it's a choice none of them wanted. will they survive or decide to come back? i don't know. but we did get to add two more campers. that is worth it."
before she could have time to speak, chiron escorted her out of the big house and shut the door.

ammeritta stood on the front porch angry and confused. she didn't understand why anyone would choose to give up on help.

when the archery lessons ended elle hurried to her cabin to finish packing. she had a backpack stuffed full of nectar and ambrosia. along with clean clothes and food. she could never figure out how ammeritta enchanted her and raiden's bags so her's was rather heavy and bulky. she decided to go find ammeritta before they left.

vincent was high up on the rock wall. he moved from side to side avoiding lava splashes that were coming towards him.

raiden grabbed hanna by the arm and led her towards their other siblings. he wasn't sure where they were exactly since he never partook in the daily lessons, but thought being with the others might help hanna's mood.

 

I hope I don't have to do that. Allen thought seeing how high Vincent was on the rock wall.


Guess this is as good as any place to rest. Keel thought as he stopped in front of a condemned building. Apparently it was supposed to be tore down in a week, lucky he had no plans of staying that long. Once inside, he placed his stuff at a corner and sat down. Looking around the building, he wondered what he was supposed to do next as he drifted off into sleep.

 

I think i'm going to end this rp since more then half the people left. It's hard to write a story without any characters. Sorry to everyone that kept goimg with it. I really had my heart set on this one.
