Gods of the Deep Greek

Michael sighed, "Hana, you seem like you could be an interesting individual." he strolled to the cot next to Hana, lying down on it, he folded his arms under his head.
"So, Hana, Sylvia, erm... Allen, I believe, and..." he motioned to Teal, who had yet to introduce himself, "What god do you guys hope you're the child of?

 

the nymphs and dryads gave them all a bit of nectar and ambrosia.
"this might burn a bit children, but you'll feel better in a moment. you should all calm down and try to get some rest. you'll feel much better in the morning."

raiden found a tennis ball on the floor of the peitha cabin. he laid in his typically vacant bunk and tossed the ball up against the ceiling. going that far away would be weird without ammeritta. she always had all the answers. it was just who she was.

ammeritta started looking over some old documents and greek stories. things weren't right. something big was going to happen, and she had a strong sense that something was off with the new demigods. she couldn't shake the feeling that something bad was about to happen.

 

“it was no problem” Drake merely replied to Ella`s thanks as he headed to the cot. With eyes closed Drake sat down on one of the cots and cringed a bit as he removed the poorly wrapped bandages on his arms. With a sight Drake allowed the nymphs and dryads to treat his wounds

 

Hana layed down and stared up at the ceiling, and began to think about everything. She sat straight up again. "Hey," she turned to one of the doctors near her. At least, she thought they were doctors. She didn't know what else to call them. "Can I call my parents? They haven't heard from me in months. They're probably worried sick."

Ella also layed down in her bed, closing her eyes and trying to focus. She had been hearing that song in the back of her head and wanted some quiet so she could focus. Then, she started humming the melody. But that was all she could remember. Just a little bit of the melody. She sighed, frustrated. Sitting up, she ran her hands through her hair. Now, alone in the darkness, she knew. She knew that something was very, very wrong. She didn't feel right about the upcoming quest, but it was too late to back out now.

 

”Most likely female god. After all, I knew only my father, but never heard a word about my mother.” she answered boy’s question.
She drank and ate what she was gave, still thinking about things that happened. She found some answers she was searching for so long, but that wasn’t enough.
“So… What will happen to us now?” she asked one of the doctors. “We’ll meet our godly parent and then…?”
She had no idea what else can they do. Learn how to fight the monsters maybe. But then? She didn’t like the idea of dedicating her whole life to something like that.

 

"then you learn how to fight" Drake as he removed his shirt and unwrapped the bandages. "you might not even get the chance to meet your godly parent" Drake said closing his eyes as he received medical attention to the wounds "from here on out your life will change...whether it is a good or bad thing is up to you all" Drake said "those beasts are out for your blood and you don't want to become their meal then you must learn to fight back" Drake said putting back his shirt on once the wounds were treated "if you have any questions ask if you want. I'll stay here for the night" Drake said darkly before resting his back against the bed with his hands behind his head and eyes closed "and just to note cellphones are a great way to get yourself killed. They release a signal that attracts those beasts" Drake said

 

"Oh, well that's comforting. Glad to know I never used a phone on the run." Teal laid down on the cot. "Still, I'm sure I'll be able to find something else to do besides train. I don't want to do anything as simple and boring as just training. If this is the life I'm going to have, I might as well have a little fun with it as well. I can already do a little sword play anyways, while it might not be the greatest. I managed to teach myself with a katana, I'm sure I'll be able to teach myself how to use my new sword."
Teal looked at his sword that he had laid down on the ground. He really liked moving around with tat. It kept him from thinking about other things, some of which might not even be important.
"If we were allowed to go on a journey every now and then, I'll certainly be happy."

 

"So, what're we supposed to do with our cellphones then?" Allen asked finishing the food he was given. And how're supposed to contact others. He thought taking a look at his cellphone before putting it back in it's pocket. I could probadly learn how to use a weapon. It's not like it'll be the hardest thing I've even done.

 

Hana pulled her cell phone out of her pocket and looked at it. "Huh. I guess that explains why I couldn't get away from that stupid monster. Everytime I thought I lost it, I tried to call my parents, to let them know where I was." She put it back in her pocket and sighed. "How can I talk to them if I can't use my phone? I want to tell them I'm alright." She laughed, imagining how her parents would take the news. "They are NOT Going to believe all this."

 

"Uh, just wondering here, but why don't you send them a letter?" Teal stretched a little, feeling stiff. He wasn't getting used to the cot one little bit.
"It might not be the fastest way to get ahold of your parents but I think it might be better than using a phone right now. If I see one more monster I'm going to crazy." Teal thought of his family. He hadn't seen them for a few months, and he knew they probably wondered where he was, but he really didn't feel like sending them a message. He just wanted to see how things played out for the moment.

 

Hana sat up again, smiling. "Yeah, I could write them a letter!" she said. "Thanks, Teal! I never would've thought of that." She looked around the room as if she expected to find writing materials laying around the infirmary so she could get started on the letter.

 

"Heh," Michael laughed to himself, "I'd love to learn how to wield a sword. Sounds like it could be really fun...That dagger of mine just doesn't cut it."
He thought about the fact that cell phones attracted monsters - "So that's why I was never allowed a cell phone...Heheh..." he glanced at Hana a bit nervously, "Least you've got parents to write a letter too, y'know? Don't take 'em for granted." he thought back to his mother's self-sacrifice to allow him to escape, a cold chill going up his spine.
"So! When do we get to trainin'?" he leaped from his cot, seeming eager to get started.

 

ammeritta greeted all her siblings as they entered the cabin. it had been awhile since they were back so her brothers and sisters had lots of questions for her. she happily told them about her adventures and all the monsters she had fought. ammeritta was technically the athena cabin counselor, but when she was gone- which was most of the time- her younger brother kaden was temporary head counselor.

raiden watched as his two godly brothers and one sister walked in through the door. the campfire was done and now they were returning for bed. they greeted him excitedly. their cabin was smaller then most of the others since there were only a few of them. they also were children of minor gods so they didn't draw as much attention as other demigod children and only had to be at camp in the summer. the summer camp portion of camp halfblood is what everyone went to. being there any other time of the year was completely optional.

Drake closed his eyes and suddenly got up "I'll be heading out. Right now just get some sleep and tomorrow you will be able to do whatever you need to" Drake said walking out to the door. The truth was after hearing them begin to talk about parents annoyed him greatly. Silently Drake walked into the Athena cabin to greet his siblings. Of course since Drake barely stayed around the camp his visits to the cabin was few

 

ammeritta smiled at drake when he walked into the cabin. it was rare for ammeritta to be home, but even more rare for drake to be there; especially for him to stay the night. she walked over to his bunk and sat down next to him.
"do you sense it? one of those new demigods has some serious hidden power. i'm not sure which, but they are radiating an aura."

raiden crawled into his bunk and pulled the covers over himself. he was going to need the all the rest he could get to make it to california.

 

Drake closed his eyes and crossed his arms "yeah I sensed it too and who knows, maybe all of them have this hidden power. After all they were all drawn towards Olympus" Drake said and let out a sigh "Although this will pose quite the problem. It seems the beasts have noticed this hidden potential as well" Drake said and looked over at Ammeritta with a soft smile "but then again its our job to keep them safe" Drake said

 

ammeritta sighed as she tried to put the pieces together unsuccessfully.
"yeah, it was clear that the creatures of the underworld could sense the immense amount of power being drawn towards mount olympus and headed straight for the groups of demigods on their way there. i just can't wrap my head around it. maybe..."
she sat there silently thinking for a minute.
"as far as i can tell, none of them have been claimed. it's strange since they're all so much older than most claimed children. hopefully they all get claimed tomorrow by dinner and things start to become more clear. i just have a really bad feeling."
ammeritta couldn't get it off her mind and when she was onto something she could never let it go.
