Gods of the Deep Greek

'Wow." Allen said staring at the camp before them. I wished I had known about this sooner. This is way better than running for your life in New York.

 

Wait what?
So she found the answers, she was looking for such a long time. But now she just didn’t know, what to think about it all. She tried to understand it, but it surely was hard. So she was a demigod, half-god, half-mortal. Daughter of god. Since she had lived with her father, she guessed, that her mother was a god. She never was really interested in mythology, but she knew something about Greek gods. She was able to recall some names, like Athena, Artemis or Aphrodite, but she still didn’t know who was her mother.
Nice camp… If I only knew, something like that exist… she thought to herself.
“Amazing.” that was all, she could say.
Everything seemed so strange and unbelievable. Just like dream…

[OOC: Sorry, I had a busy week and I wasn’t able to post.

 

Michael gazed before him, a man-horse stood.
"So this is Camp Half-Blood? It's...Nice. I guess." he said, unsure of what to think.
One of the girls muttered to herself, "Amazing...", to which he simply replied, "Yeah..."
"So, I should learn who my real father is here, right? Awesome. I hope it's someone like Apollo. Or maybe Hermes." he rambled, "So...What now?"

 

chiron opened his arms up and spread them out wide.
"welcome demigods to camp halfblood. i know you all must have questions, but given the hour it would probably be best to get a nights sleep. you may all stay in the infirmary for the evening. i'm sure many of you need to receive medical attention anyway. if you will follow me this way, i will show you to the beds."

raiden walked up to ammeritta and wrapped his arm around her waist. they didn't need to need to go to the infirmary and it wasn't their first time being their so they would just go to their respective cabins for the night.

chiron stopped them from leaving.
"wait, i need to speak with all four of you please. ammeritta, raiden, drake, and elle if you would all meet me in my office please. i will have the satyrs show the others to the infirmary."
each of the satyrs grabbed a demigod by the arm and started to lead them towards the infirmary.

 

Looking around Teal noticed how many different people there were in the camp. He figured that he didn't want to get on the bad side of those burly looking ones. He figured they might be from either Ares or Hepheastus. But that was him guessing. He didn't think anyone else would do anything to get that buff. Being pulled by the satyr was kinda annoying, but he kept up. Although, keeping up with someone who had goat feet was a bit difficult, he didn't know how though. He and the other kids came up to a building that looked like what might be the infirmary. He really didn't want to go, but he figured he might as well. Better safe than sorry, right?
"So uh," He looked at Micheal, "What do you think of this place?"

[occ: sorry for not posting in a while. I've wanted to, but I got taken away too many times from the computer]

 

ammeritta and raiden walked together as they followed chiron into the office. it was cramped with a centaur and four demigods, but once he sat down in his enchanted wheelchair the room opened up.
"now i realize the four of you are probably tired and wanting rest, but we have a serious problem. something is going on, why else would we manage to find five new demigods in the same region. i have reason to believe something big is coming. i have also received news about a couple demigods spotted out in california. they have already received a stream of monster attacks and i'm not sure how much longer they will be able to make it. we should send out a team as quickly as possible."

ammeritta listened intently. she wasn't sure if she wanted to go out to california. with all these new demigods she felt obligated to stay for awhile. especially since she had a strange feeling about michael.
"you can count me out."

raiden looked at her in surprise. it wasn't like ammeritta to back out on the option to go on a quest.

 

Michael glanced at the boy beside him, "Heh, it's pretty neat, I'll say that..." his mind was still fixated on who his father may be, he turned to the boy, "So, do you know who your godly parent is?"
Michael's eyes continued to wonder to the feet of the satyrs. It was just a bit bizarre, and he couldn't keep his eyes off of them.

 

OOC: I'm sorry I was off for so long. I got caught up watching Psych on the TV. I'll just try to span my post through the last few posts.

IC: Raiden smiled. he had Ella sitting between himself and Ammeritta on Vester's back.
"Ah, yeah kinda. Can you hold yourself up now?"
Ella still felt a little strange, as if the world in front of her were a movie on a screen. But she felt strong enough to at least sit in the chariot. "I think so, thank you," she said in response to Raiden. When the chariot pulled into the camp, she felt a lot better. Everything was clearer, and she smiled as she heard the singing coming from the amphitheater. She loved hearing all the many voices (some of them not always on tune), joining together in song. She was thinking about joining them instead of her original plan to rest in her cabin, but then Chiron stopped them before they could leave. "Wait, I need to speak with all four of you please. Ammeritta, Raiden, Drake, and Ella if you would all meet me in my office please. I will have the satyrs show the others to the infirmary."
Ella glanced at the demigods as she followed the others to Chiron's office.

Hana looked around curiously at the strange people leading them to the infrimary. They looked like humans, except they had feet like a goat. Everything was so different here, she wasn't really sure that she would fit in. For one thing, everyone else seemed to know all about... greek gods and everything. She had never been good at remembering things that happened in the past, she was always caught up in the now. "Wow, this place is cool! What cabin do you guys think we're all gonna be in? How many gods are there? Which ones are the coolest? Hey, what do you think those guys are doing over there? They're singing. Why are they singing?" Hana was excited, and when Hana got excited, it was like her tongue had a mind of its own.

When they reached the cabin, Chiron turned and faced the four of them. "Now I realize the four of you are probably tired and wanting rest, but we have a serious problem. Something is going on, why else would we manage to find five new demigods in the same region? I have reason to believe something big is coming. We should send out a team as quickly as possible." Ella sighed. So it wasn't just her, then. Chiron felt it too. As for going to California, Ammerrita spoke up first. "You can count me out." Raiden looked at her in surprise. Ella frowned in concentration. Should she go to California or should she stay here at the camp? Well, Ammerrita was going to stay, so it wasn't like she was needed here. But then again, she wasn't sure if she should go, considering what had happened on the last trip. She couldn't afford to black out again. She decided to wait and see what the others said. If she needed to go, she would.

 

Michael turned to the girl that seemed to be speaking at miles a minute.
"We'll be in, from what I heard, in our parent's cabin. A lot. They're all pretty cool. They like to sing, I guess." he answered each of her questions the best he could. Here he stood with a others just like him whom could wind up being a great friend.
"I feel like I'm in Summer Camp again..." he muttered, before speaking up once again, to the two people he'd actually talked to while here. "I guess we should introduce ourselves formally, eh you two?" he gestured to the girl and boy next to him, "Name's Michael."

 

"Not interested" Drake said leaning against a pole with his eyes closed and arms crossed. "A simple team should be enough to take care of those demigods. Such a task does not interest me" Drake said as he moved away from the pole "besides I have done as much as I can with these wounds so I would rather rest" Drake said heading towards the exit. "I pushed myself enough" Drake said. He really needed to get his wounds properly fixed and wrapped after having reopened some deep wounds

 

Ignored by boy, she didn’t say a thing to him. Yes, she knew, she might not be the lively one here, but still… She looked at Hana and smile a little. She was different than her. Sylvia was quiet. Or rather didn’t enjoy other people company so much.
“No idea.” was her response. “I still don’t know, who’s my godly parent.”
I wonder, who can it be. It’s not like I can say anything with my “vast” knowledge.”
“But for sure there is many gods. Major, minor or something like that…”

 

Hana smiled. "Well, Micheal, it's nice to know your name!" she said. "My name's Hana, and this is Sylvia, and that's Allen!" She nodded to each person as she named them. "We all met already. It was so cool, we got attacked by a giant one-eyed freak, and this cool guy with a sword like, totally blew them up!" She turned to Sylvia. "I bet your godly parent is somebody cool, like, I don't know. Wasn't there one that shot lightning or something? I think I saw that on Hercules..."

Ella sighed. I guess I should go, then. She thought. It's not wise to send only one person on a quest alone. Especially when you know something out of the usual is happening. Besides, she felt like she needed to redeem herself. She hadn't exactly done much actual "helping" on the last quest. And she did like going on quests. It felt good to know that you were helping. "I am willing and ready to be of assistance," she said to Chiron. "Whenever you wish me to leave, I can go."

 

„ Zeus, if I recall his name correctly.†she nodded. “But I don’t think he’s the one. It would be too good to be true.â€
She smiled looking at Hana.
“Oh yeah, that remained me… I forgot to thanks the boy who saved us.†she sighed a little. “Anyway.. Thanks Hana. I’m glad that I met you back then.†she said to cheerful girl.

 

"I'm sure you'll see him soon enough to thank him. Although, what happened to you guys when you were attacked by the cyclops? I wonder why almost everyone here had been attacked by a cyclops. It would think that they wouldn't blend in very well, considering how big they are."
Teal stopped walking, thinking about all of the things that happened. There had been how many of them that had gotten attacked and met up in the city? Was that really just coincidence? He wanted to think so, but the way that Raiden was acting, he felt that something was going on.

 

the satyr that was leading teal stopped and looked at him.
"mortals don't see beasts the way we do. the mist alters their interpretation so what you see as a cyclops they see as something different. they also wouldn't see us as satyrs. they may think it's a costume or see our legs as crippled."
he opened the door to the infirmary which was filled with cots. there were a few other satyrs and nymphs in the infirmary and they went to show everyone to a bed. a couple of them grabbed some bottles of nectar and flakes of ambrosia. a wood nymph approached them all.
"everyone lie down and take a cot. we'll each attend to your wounds."

chiron looked around the room at the four of them.
"drake if you would like to go to the infirmary and receive some nectar the nymphs and dryads will tend to your wounds."
he looked at raiden and ella.
"ella i'm glad to hear you're willing to go. raiden?"

raiden looked at ammeritta. it wasn't like her to back out and they always went everywhere together. he could tell there was something she needed to do at camp and he never really felt comfortable there.
"i guess i'll go too, chiron. can't let ella go by herself."
he smiled politely to her.

 

"right I'll do that, thanks for the concern. " Drake said casually as he walked out and raised his arm to signal a farewell to the others. He wasn't even quite sure how long he was going to stay at the camps since he usually traveled by himself. Walking out Drake calmly walked into the infirmary, his eyes immediately glanced over at the new demigods for a few seconds before he closed his eyes and headed to a cot

 

they all watched as drake left the room.
"well the two of you know the rules. you need a third member, and since both athenian children have decided not to go, you'll need to find another person."
he waved his arm to dismiss them.
"take the night to sleep on it. you are dismissed."

ammeritta and raiden walked out together. it had been a long time since they had slept at camp. when they approached the cabins they seperated for the night and went to their cabins. the other campers hadn't gotten back yet from the campfire, so they each had a little alone time to spare. ammeritta pulled out some papers and got to work.

 

Ella smiled at Raiden in return and then turned to Chiron. "Thank you, I will." She left the big house and walked to her cabin, humming along with the campfire songs as she passed the amphitheater. When she reached the cabin, she put her bacpack in its place under the bed. Then she took her silver ring off her finger and placed it back where it belonged. Then, grabbing her pajamas and her toothbrush, she went into the bathroom to prepare for bed.

Hana layed on the cot nearest her, but was sitting up within moments. "That explains why all the people thought that thing was a truck!" she said about the mist. Then Drake walked in. "Ooh!" She said. "Thanks for blowing up that monster that attacked us!" she said. "That was awesome!"

 

Teal wasn't to sure about sleeping in the cots. He wasn't exactly the best at falling asleep on anything but a flat surface. And he felt better if he wasn't sleeping in something that would slam him to the ground if he wasn't careful.
"Wait," he looked over to the girl that said the cyclops was a truck, "People thought it was a truck? You have got to be kidding me. I mean, how in any way can you mistake a moving living creature for a truck? Even with that mist, it just doesn't make sense." Teal began to wrack his brain on it. He just couldn't see it. He had kept away from civilians for as much as he could, so he wasn't sure if anyone actually saw the cyclops. "So what's your name anyways? Seems like you're a hyperactive person that likes to keep moving."

 

Hana smiled. "I'm Hana," she said. "And yeah, I guess I do hate to sit still. All my teachers in school never knew what to do with me."
