Gods of the Deep Greek

With his blade sheathed on his back Drake silently walked with the demigods he saved. Trying his best not to show it, Drake was loosing his strength with each step he took due to the wounds and fatigue of his travels. Nonetheless he still pushed his body to stay strong and protect the demigods he found

 

Ella suddenly felt dizzy. She sat down hard and closed her eyes, pressing her hand to her forehead. "Ooh... This is not the best time for this to happen." Everything went dark, and Ella blacked out.

ammeritta smiled at elle.
"nice seeing you again elle. glad you could join us."
he turned to look at michael, realizing that he still didn't really know what's going on.
"camp halfblood of course. it's a safe place for demigods. the only danger is the ares cabin."
she smiled at elle, as if she would know exactly what she was talking about.

while waiting for the others to arrive, elle mumbled something and then blacked out. ammeritta ran up to her to try and catch her before she hit the ground. it wasn't like elle was heavy or anything, but strength wasn't exactly ammeritta's specialty and she had some trouble holding her up.

 

Teal paced back and forth. He had been waiting in the lobby for a while now, and he was getting really impatiant. He didn't want to wait. He wanted to get out somewhere where he could actually do something. Or at least go some place where he didn't feel like elevator music was playing.
"Just how long are we going to wait?" Teal walked up to Raiden, who was sitting on a bench, "I figured we'd be waiting a few mintues, but this is rediculous."
Teal went back to pacing, really hoping something would get them out of this place.

raiden looked out the window, noticing a group of people forming and then glanced at teal.
"it shouldn't take much longer now. let's go."
he got up and walked out the door towards ammeritta, who was struggling to hold up elle.
"what's wrong with her?"

ammeritta grimaced.
"not sure. one minute she was standing her fine, and the next she was passing out. can you take her please?"
she watched as raiden easily picked her up, letting elle's head rest against his neck and wrapping one arm around her waist and the other underneath her legs. ammeritta looked around at the group of satyrs standing by them. clearly they needed to leave soon, because they were starting to get some attention.
"we should get these three out of here now at least."

raiden looked around confused.
"didn't we see more of them? and where's drake at?"

she sighed and shrugged her shoulders.
"he had already defeated the hellhounds by the time i got there, but i have yet to see him or the other demigods. for now...for now we need to focus on who we have with us right now..."

 

Teal watched Raiden pick up the girl. Apparently she was out cold or something, because she looked like she was sleeping. Teal went outside to meet the other person that had come up to the building.
"Is there anything wrong with her?" Teal stood over the girl, looking at her. He had gotten a B in Health class, but he couldn't see anything wrong with her. Of course, he wasn't going to say he got a B because he ended up breaking his own arm so he could get out of class, only for it to be the subject of the next lesson.
He looked at the girl who was caring the unconcious girl. "Did you see what she was doing before she collapsed?"

 

ammeritta stared at the guy curiously.
"she was just standing there talking and then all of a sudden she mumbled something about 'not again' and then started to collapse."
she began tapping her foot impatiently. they couldn't wait much longer to leave. with this many demigods around, it was only a matter of time before some major monster appeared.

 

"...I...Can anyone explain this to me? This is all pretty confusing." Michael mumbled to no one in particular.
His eyes rested on the girl that had blacked out, Could that've had anything to do with this whole ordeal...?
"Whatever, I'll just try to learn as I go...So we're going to this, 'Camp Heart-Blood', right?" he wasn't really listening when Ammerita faintly explained.
"Oh...Right, I suppose I should introduce myself as well." he glanced among the others around him, "The name's Michael."

 

Teal tried to whack his brain around this one. He wasn't much good with this kind of stuff, and guessing was what he usually did. He figured that if they were all related to Greek gods than that probably had something to do with it. He knew that in Greek history there were people that were granted the gift of prophecy by the god Apollo, but it's not like they fainted. He tried to think of other Greek gods. Zeus wouldn't have anything to do with it, Hades? Maybe. He didn't think any of the female gods would do something to make a person faint. He tried to think of other stuff. He just couldn't think of anything. So he just went with his first guess.
"Who's her parent? Maybe they had something to do with this? Or maybe she had something bad to eat?" He stopped himself and thought for a second. "Ok, that last one probably isn't right. But we've been getting attacked by monsters like crazy. There's got to be something that comes to mind."

 

"Parent?! What has this girl's mom or dad have anything to do with her fainting?! Jeez, you'd think her parents had telekinisis or mind control or something. Tch, as if they could cause her to faint." a nervous chuckle escaped his mouth, his pupils darting around the area in suspicion.

 

"Apparently you didn't study much Greek mythology. There were a lot of things that happened that were related with the gods. Not too mention, I don't think it would be hard for them if it was the parent I'm thinking of, but I don't know. I'm only taking a guess. And you do know that the gods can talk to you through lots of different means, right?"
Teal looked to Raiden, "I don't suppose you have any suspicion of what might have happened?"

 

What? Greek Mythological parents? What is this? This...Blasphemy?! Michael struggled for the correct word to describe this.
"You mean to tell me," he interrupted, "All of us are the child of some kind of Greek God? Like Zeus, Hades, Poseidon, or Apollo?"
His face was stricken with a pale color, as these words left his lips.

 

Teal lifted his finger into the air, mocking an anime move. "Bingo! Give the kid his prize." He lowered his hand. He wasn't trying to be funny but being around these people made him feel like he coul be a little more open than usual.
"You've got it exactly right. Greek gods are real. All of them. Zeus, Hades, Poseidon, Hera, Aphrodite, Hermes, the whole kit and kaboodle."

 

ammeritta burst out laughing hysterically.
"kit...aha..kit and...aha...kaboodle?? really? i..ahaha..i'm sorry..."
she stiffled back a laugh.
"i'm sorry. this isn't a laughing matter and michael, teal is right. it's all real. you couldn't guess that from the hellhounds and the cyclops?"
she looked at raiden who looked a little annoyed.
"i'm sorry. that was really rude of me. oh and michael, this is raiden."
ammeritta pointed to the man holding the unconscious girl.
"as for what happened to elle, none of us can be certain. once we get back to camp the rest of the apollo cabin can take a look at her. they are our camp medics, and it's halfblood, michael, not heartblood. that's what we are. halfbloods-demigods-half mortal half god. one of our parents is a greek god or goddess. mine is athena and raiden's is peitha. elle is from apollo."

 

"W-Wow...That's amazing... So, when we get to Camp Half-Blood, I'll be put into some form of Cabin? I'm guessing there is more than the Apollo cabin, like a Zeus, Poseidon, and Hades, right?" now, he was a bit excited, I mean, - He had a god as a parent.
"So...When and or where to I find out who my parent is?" he glanced at Raiden, acknowledging his existence, and said a bit quickly, "Hello, Raiden.".

 

"Sorry I am late" said the calm voice of Drake as he walked over towards the group. Having led the three he found below Drake merely closed his eyes and crossed his arms "that should be all of them. So we best get away from here before those beasts attack" Drake said panting a bit. All he really wanted was to rest and tend to some of the wounds that had opened upon pushing his body

 

Taron frowned and sighed. "I don't have any food, but I've got a bottle of water." he said, grabbing said bottle from his pocket. He tossed it to the boy. "Don't eat the cap," he said, a smirk on his face.

raiden nodded at michael, acknowledging the fact that he was greeting him, while ammeritta talked.

ammeritta smiled when drake arrived.
"yes michael, you'll be chosen. i'm surprised that you haven't already, given your age. it's quite odd actually, but yes, once we reach camp i'm sure your parent will choose you and then there will be a cabin you'll get to stay in with your siblings. drake here is my brother. but we really need to get going. we can talk more about this when we are in the safety of the camp walls."
she started loading everyone up on the chariots and the backs of the pegasi. the satyrs grabbed hold of a couple and in moments they were all on their way to camp.

 

"Man, this is so awesome!" Hana said when she got to the chariot being pulled by the flying horses. "I can't believe this is happening! I mean, I always knew I was adopted, but I'm the daughter of a greek god? Wow."

Ella was standing alone in a white fog, seeing nothing but the cloud in front of her and hearing a low hum. As she walked, the hum grew louder and began to turn into a beautiful melody of sorts, sweet and simple, yet profoundly sad. Before she knew what was happening, Ella was also singing, harmonizing to the lovely music. The words flowed smoothly from her mouth, telling a story of long ago and yesterdays, then changing to a warning of what was to come. Beyond the fog, she could barely make out the shape of the One singing, and she began to walk a little faster, trying to see what it was. As she got closer, the fog began to lift, and she could almost see it... Ella suddenly awoke. Already, the dream was fading out of her memory, and she couldn't even remember what she had been dreaming about. The words form her song were already gone completely, she just remembered that she was warned. Warned about what? she thought. What's coming soon that makes me feel so wrong? Opening her eyes, she saw that she was being held by another person she had seen around camp, Raiden, son of Pietha. "What happened?" she asked. She remembered being unable to sleep, being sent to help the demigods, and then... "Oh, great. Did I black out?" She asked.

 

raiden smiled. he had elle sitting between himself and ammeritta on vester's back.
"ah, yeah kinda. can you hold yourself up now?"
he unwrapped his arms from around her and stuck his hands in his pocket. new york passed by in a blur as they drew closer to the long island sound. the camp came into sight. if it wasn't for the mist being so thick, there would be no way to hide it from the mortals flying over in planes. vester touched down after a few more minutes.

it was getting quite late. all of the campers were down by the amphitheater for the nightly campfire singing songs. they were probably wondering why the apollo camp leader wasn't there leading in the ancient singalongs, but none were too concerned. vester had landed in front of the big house and chiron walked out.

ammeritta hopped off of vester and walked up to chiron. they greeted each other with a hug and then she turned to present the new demigods to him.
"well here they are."
she waved her hand across their field of vision to show the five new demigods.
