thanks for the heads up. and just so everyone is aware i have okayed kayate to have a child of the major three. he has been informed that things will be much harder and is more likely to die. i will work on the details of the camp in my free time tomorrow.

oh! and btw, i know i said no limits on weapons, but not everyone can have katanas. especially since they aren't even a greek weapon. they are japanese. and this is a greek rp...not japanese...mkay?

What location you are starting at: Los Angeles, California
How long you've been on the run: 1 year, 5 months
Backstory: Ever since Samson was young, he loved to help others. He was very good at taking care of others, and knew a lot of different herbs and medicines. He was also gifted at playing music, specifically string instruments. Samson grew up with ADHD and dyslexia, making school a bit of a challenge. However, he usually got B's and some A's. Life for Samson was very well, until is mother was kidnapped and then killed by a feriocious Erinyes, or Fury. Ever since then, Samson has been on the run from the dangers of ancient Greek mythology creatures.

it is never too late to join! the rp has barely even started. accepted! and you guys don't have to change your weapons, i'm just saying not everyone can have a katana is all. no biggie. if you want i can look up some ancient greek weapons if you want something different. not too mention your weapon might break or something and you need a new one. just depends on how the story plays out. and i'll try to get the details about the camp added soon. oh! and apollo is now full.

 

So my character Hana is running around the streets of New York, trying to get away from monsters. I'd like her to meet up with somebody. Does anyone want to have her run into their spot?

 

i was planning on having ammeritta and raiden meet her, i'm just waiting for twilightblader to reply. i need him to tell my characters where they are going before they just take off aimlessly. ammeritta's duty is to find other demigods. she has a similar job as the satyrs, but obviously isn't actually a satyr. i'm going to try and have them find all the characters within new york relatively soon, but of course not all at once.

oh! and while i am thinking of it, i'll let all of you know this before i forget to post it again. idk how many of you have actually read the riordan books, but there is this thing called the mist. it's this strong veil of magic that makes regular mortals unaware of the magical beasts around them. they don't mount olympus floating above the empire state building or any of the creatures. sometimes their brains process the fact that something is there but it just appears to them as something else. things like pegasi may just look as if they are small personally owned planes or something along those lines. so if you end up within a crowd of mortals, they wont know what's going on, but they will see that there is definitely something there. feel free to use your imagination to decide what the mortals see. some things may even be super crazy, depending on the situation. x_x'

 

Sylvia is also alone in New York. Trying to avoid trouble, but wouldn't mind meeting with someone. So Hana can run into her ^^

yeah, I actually just thought of this while getting on the site. Do you think maybe I could do something where the katana breaks and then he gets a double-edged sword to use? They're not really my favorite weapons, but I should keep it greek. And also, I was planning on having my character come up in front of New York Times or the Empire State Building. Anyone wanna meet up?

 

you can definitely get new weapons. feel free to change out weapons whenever you want. just remember that you'll want to go some place to get a new one made. and in order for your weapons to actually do damage to the monsters they have to be made out of celestial bronze. they don't hurt mortals, just monsters. so you can either pretend that your weapons are already made out of it, or you can go with the alternative, which will have made your travels up until now even more troublesome, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. adds character.

 

Yeah, I was just thinking I might go into a whole "ends up in a fight, tries to fight, loses weapon, something happens inbetween, gets new weapon, story continues" kinda thing. Although, I don't know about the something inbetween. Unless one of you wants to meet up with my character

 

well as soon as twilightblader replies i can start looking for people. i can't do much til then. i'm sure other people would be willing to meet up though.

Shadow Travel - Awaaaaaaay!

 

i posted some stuff about the camp and some beasts. just a note, the image of argus was highly exaggerated. his eyes are normal sized. and he has two normal eyes in the regular position for eyes, not that one giant eye. i couldn't find a good photo. argus also always wears a suit nowadays. all of the greek characters have adapted to the new world. this is one form of it.
