Wanting to meet God, For something selfish, Pray for him, and his glory, Question him, and his existents, Short-sighted vision, Why look above for a God, When they live close to your heart, They may not seem important, It’s because they blend in with the others, They teach us, without knowing it, When you really need someone, a God is there, By your heart, You may have met one, and loved them, They love you back, but Gods aren’t allowed, So they beautifully crush your heart, you hate them now, Poor Gods, they live for only you, And you, Human, you don’t care, you never did, They waste their time on you, it’s what makes them heavenly Note: This poem is not meant to disrespect anyone's relegion or beliefs, in fact it shows God/s in a more positive way.
Great poem, and I like the way you have added that footnote at the end cause I can see how some may be offended. But besides that I find this as a great descriptive poem about a higher being than just humanity but the last line especially solidifies my enjoyment. Good Job.
I like how the note tells that it doesn't disrespect my beliefs since I'm not fully Christian. I really like your poem, it does have a positive outlook and its very great with details and and it actualled pulled me into it Great job :D
