I was just thinking, have any of you played Go? If anyone has read Hikary-No-Go you'll know what it is. But you can find out by going to gokgs.com. I was just thinking if anyone wanted to, we could teach some people and maybe make a community on it?
I've played it a few times before. It's alright, still getting use to the rules, but I'm not that heavy of a player.
I've read that up to book 20? I think. Loved it. I tried playing it against a computer of the easiest level online and could never win. I know how to but I can never tell if what I am doing is a good thing or not.
book 20? I never bothered reading the books. Sure they're meant to help, but I'm a hands-on kind of person. Reading just doesn't cope with me. But if you want to challenge me we can always try and find a good time
I think he meant up to Volume 20 of Hikaru No Go. I used to like the series and was interested in Go, but it's not really a commonly played game so I never go into it. I played online a few times but wasn't very good.
yeah, I went to a Go club at my library, but because school started getting insane, I had to stop going. That, and it started at 12 and went to 2, which kinda takes a good chunk of your afternoon out. I haven't gone back in more than a year. I could teach some of you guys what I know if you want. I am by far not the greatest, since I was only like a rank 24k, which is still in the beginner rank, but I did pretty good every now and then.
